Montenegro is a Balkan country with rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. The Bay of Kotor, resembling a fjord, is dotted with coastal churches and fortified towns such as Kotor and Herceg Novi.

Montenegro is absolute gem. If you're a traveller and you don't make it there, you are missing out. Walking the old town of Kotor, images of knights and battles jumped in my head, the bay full of old time wooden ships. Black Lake is also beautiful, the air crisp with scents of the trees, you can walk around the entire lake, small foot bridges and walking paths are helpful. I hope I am able to make it back to Montenegro one day.

You can get apartment in Budva for half the price if you search a bit in advance, but the view is breathtaking for sure. Next time try Herceg Novi, has the old Town too and a great view at Boka Bay from the fortresses Kanli or Forte Mare ❤️

This channel is somewhat of how i'm wanting to have my own channel also..
Not just walking but a chat as well, hence the name i've used!
I'm curious however, as to what camera you use and even which software for editing you work with?

      @@IslandHopperTV Thanks for the reply!
I currently have an action camera called a Akaso V50 Pro, which is very similar to a Go Pro, but i might have to check out that software you've mentioned..

Min.1:19 and forward: My first language is Spanish, and the correct trasnslation of "Montengro" is ""Black Mount". (Black Mountain would be "Montaña Negra".) It would be interesting to know the origin of its nane, as this isn't a Spanish speaking country.

The origin of the name Montenegro is Venetian-Italian. Much of the coastline of Montenegro in its current form was influenced by Italy, or more specifically the Venetian Republic of Venice for hundreds of years. For example, the city of Kotor was under the reign and influence by the Republic of Venice for many centuries and used to be called by the Italian name "Cattaro" until 1918 when the city became a part of Yugoslavia and officially became known as Kotor. You can see in the video the cobblestone roads, buildings, landmarks of the old city which are heavily influenced by Venetian architecture, artisans and seafarers. Since Montenegro is a Serbo-Croatian speaking country, the name of the country is actually called by its native name "Crna Gora" and for international, business and geographical purposes refers to itself as Montenegro.
