- As previously mentioned before, it BLEW MY MIND that Tom was playing Skiba tracks during their reunion tour, and tonight they played "Cynical" and "Bored to Death" for the first time ever with the Tom DeLonge lineup. I was a giddy and happy camper that this happened. So exciting! And Tom did a great job here. Also Mark SLAYED it here too, this is one of his best Blink songs, and of course Travis always does incredible work here. I HAD to get history being made tonight!

I’m sick of people who bash Matt for “not being as good as Tom”. He may not have the Tom Delonge personality but I would argue he is a much better all around musician. This song along with everything on “California” was amazing and Matt helped keep blink alive while Tom was absent.

That's most or all of Cali for me, but I still appreciate Skiba and his contribution along with a bit more of him on Nine, but Cali Deluxe sounds like you said written with Tom in mind.

@@splash5427 Eh, the album version (most of the songs on that album) sounded separate from the rest of the Tom albums to me. This version sounds like it could be on the self titled album and has a more stockholm syndrome/feeling this sound.

Even though he doesnt like punk rock anymore, he'll allow us to watch him with Blink again..... for a couple months at least, until he quits to go save the world through his lame, self important, pretentious, other band again. No matter what anybody says, at least Skiba likes punk...

I think his alcohol problems had to do a lot with his ex wife - probably a not very healthy relationship. i think he tried staying together for the kids but yeah now he looks and feels like he is having the time of his life since 2005 or stg.

I saw Blink in Detroit and thought it was an incredible show, but You can really hear some sort of auto tune on Toms verse in this video. The last note of his verse you can hear the auto tune pulls him down a half step
Watching in this, I'm thinking what a bear this song is for Tom/Matt. Once the first chorus hits, he doesn't get a break--it's just all mid-upper register for 2 and 1/2 minutes non-stop.
He should sing every song like he sings this. No wild inflections and shit. He sounds pretty good here, but he seems lazy or disiniterested when he sings songs he was a part of.
