The batter is basically a sweet version of a Yorkshire pudding in England which we have to accompany our Sunday roast. Yorkshire puddings were first recorded as eaten in the 1700s and were then known as dripping pudding in a book called "The Whole Duty of a Woman" 🙂. We sometimes have leftover Yorkshire puddings with a sweet filling, often jam, the next day. I am going to try your recipe.
Yes, it's t's also called Yorkshire Pudding. Swabians call it Pfitzauf. They even used to have a special pan/dish for it. 😂 Thank you for the recipe. ❤
First had this at my son’s in-laws, they call it a German Pancake. Very similar recipe. Have you ever tried it in an air fryer? Curious if it’d work. I have a 6” cake pan that would fit but 🤷♀️
I can here learn cooking and English language at the same time Thank you from Iraq
Thanks for watching!
@@LeighAnneWilkes Thank you too
