Lets not forget that Joel is a wonderful musician who provides an absolute rock solid foundation for the intricate tapestry of sound woven by Jens and Uwe. What a great band they are.
Wow I agree, I never ever listen to this, but I randomly came across it, and wow I was bobbin my head, my foot was tappin, and I was slappin my knee haha 5/5 for sure
When I was with my dad at Merlefest last year, we caught the last ten seconds of these guys. Judging by the speed of this song, I can only assume that this was their closer. Orange Blossom Spey-cial!
We can certainly hear the banjo in this version, and the vocals. I didn't know this instrumental carried vocals back when Billy Vaughn's version hit top 40 radio, and that goes for many instruments including Velvet Waters by the Megatrons & Wild Wkd by the Riverias. I guess they could all have vocals added, anyway @ approx 55 secs into the song i hear a piece of jingle bells, I ike the way that piece was thrown in, it could go unnoticed if one is washing dishes. Sds Blugrass special, thx4 post.
Jens and Uwe are natives of Switzerland and remain Swiss citizens. They spend the summer in the US making their wonderful music.

They certainly blow any stereotype I might have had about the Swiss right out the window! They're excellent!

Right, if these guys ever did Foggy Mountain Breakdown, I'd be set for life. No other bluegrass needed.

What! No white tie and tux!! Oh, well, I will overlook it this time, but I love their music. wow.
yens used to be my sister's banjo teacher in Zurich
No wonder they're SITTING!! Wew!!
Has Jens attempted to get in Guiness Book of World Records for fastest banjo player? I really think he can top 210 beats per minute!
OMG! How could someone "dislike" this?!? Has to be a typo. :-)
I certainly dislike how much better they play than I can
My cousin is married to the lead singer.(:
Heiliger Haferbrei !!! That's what you get when you fuel a steam locomotive with sowercrowt ...
