BTW, I was able to use my hsa card easily with zenni. They take about 2 weeks and notifications are not quick, but ai like their glasses. However, they do not give 100% refund, but do have 30 day free shipping returns for 100% store credit.
I used to have glasses that covered my eyebrows and I loooooved it because I never had to worry about the state of my eyebrows lol
I was an optician for many years before i retired in late 2019. You did an excellent review of your glasses. i wouldn't be surprised if Eye Buy Direct doesn't contact you and want to sponsor you which will mean that they will use your video under their name here in You Tube. It will mean that they will then be providing you with several pairs of glasses at a time at no charge to you every few months. All they will want in return is for you to do a nice review of those glasses in a video. I'm glad that you have the same opinion as I have on your glasses. I liked the first 2 pairs of glasses you put on and reviewed. I really feel for those people like you that are nearsighted and if they want to watch TV they need their glasses to see it clearly but too often they fall asleep with their glasses on and that's never a good thing as you know. My best suggestion is to find the cheapest pair of glasses with the thickest frame and only wear them when watching TV in case you should fall asleep the if they were to get broken the loss wouldn't be a big deal and you would simply just order another cheap pair or maybe dig out a pair of glasses that has a weaker prescription in them. Usually that weaker prescription is just fine for only needing to see across the room. That 3rd pair of glasses i was very glad to hear that you weren't too crazy about them either. They look extremely heavy on you and the bottom of the frame is sitting or almost sitting on your cheeks. You never ever want that because that will leave permanent marks if you were to wear them very often. besides you don't want your glasses dominating your whole face do you? lastly when you have up in place they are blocking your eyebrows, something no woman should ever want to happen. They might make great "watching the TV glasses"? So since you asked. No not cute. I like pair number 4 on you and i'm not sure why you don't wear them more often. I actually think the bridge size is a perfect fit on you. I did notice that the first 2 pairs even though I really liked them I thought the bridge was a bit too tight on your nose and I have a feeling that they leave indentations on the sides of your nose where they sit. I like pair number 5 on you and they really seem to be a very nice fit in every way. I love the color of the frame too. The other glasses were very nice as well.

I assume that you already wear glasses. So look on the inside of the temples (arms) and you will see a set of 3 numbers that will look a bit like this. 51 - 18 - 135 those numbers are the size of the frame. Here is what those numbers relate to. The first number is the width of one lens of your glasses, the second number is the bridge size or the part that fits on your nose, the last number is the length of the temples. These numbers are all in millimeters by the way. Now when you go on line all you need to do is match as closely as possible to those numbers for those 3 things. Lens width, bridge size and temple length. Also I suggest finding a ruler that has millimeters on it and measure those same glasses across the face portion from the far outside right to the far outside left. Usually this will be somewhere between 128 and 135 for for an average size young woman.

Great review, but I really wanted to know if these glasses are heavy or light. I have a button nose so it doesn't support a lot of weight... Most of my glasses, even when it's light... starts feeling heavy after a few hours of use. :(
Yes! You can totally submit a receipt and get reimbursed. I am just a bit lazy HAHA the glasses are pretty lightweight unless you get bulky frames. I have the SAME problem. I will start to get headaches! I have never had a problem with their frames
i didnt had to do with doctor - i just put perscription from my head and not from doctor - I was at doctor but in Poland, and now I am in USA and not had money to spent for going to doctor to find out the same or made too strong glasses- as one optiotion in Poland made my glasses too strong as one of my eyes has werid illness that was always like that- maybe not illness - its like i see litlle darker on it when i close left eye and its like cant focus on what I read as when i try harder its like blacker veil start to radiate and then its in front and view is less visible - i not see the middle letter but the ones on sides and to read word have then have to move it from left to right- and then i can see more- and its not blurred but its just not able to see like in my left normal eye and i had that exam in doctor in poland and he looked and he couldnt diagnosed it so I just know that eye will be not reading well and just get same strength which is -1 and my glasses from poland were too strong as was getting dizzy in them sitting few minutes. Here i bet they would do the same, and my english isnt perfect so they would not understand my issue. But eyebuy direct sold me ones I wanted without problem. If they wouldnt I would use different site. But some ppl has different problems as they have that angles and axis and I not have that.
Hi, can I ask which index you got, the 1.6 or 1.7? My prescription is -5.00 so I'm trying to decide if 1.6 will be good enough, tnx!
As a former, now retired optician, at -5.00 your lens thickness should be decided by which style of frame you order. For example if yo were to get a thin wireframe you might prefer getting the 1.61 high index thickness. If you get a full rather bold plastic frame the frame is going to hide nearly all of the thickness of your lenses and you should be able order either a 1.50 or 1.57 lens, whichever is the cheapest available to you, and your glasses will look just fine. Also remember that when ordering prescription sunglasses it's never necessary to get high index lenses because the thickness really doesn't show anyway. Your prescription isn't strong enough for you to need anything higher than 1.61.
@@soundmanpt I know this is a super late reply, but I just ordered some glasses from eyebuydirect and they only had 1.5, 1.59 and 1.6 index lenses. My prescription is -3.00 in each eye so I ordered the 1.59. But I've been reading that that index is what they use for goggles essentially and the lenses aren't super clear. Should I be worried about seeing through them? Should I have downgraded to 1.5 or gone up to 1.6?
