Gambling has been around since the beginning of time you guys just live in medieval times there’s plenty of winners and gambling. Also, somebody has to win.
I call BS on that too. This whole thing was biased. Focused on one extreme case with the lady, all the talking heads againsts, and surprise questions to spokesman's like gronk or company executives. If someone cold called me I'd hang up too. Go thru the right channels don't just call out of the blue. Where's the interviews of state program's that now have more money to fund their work because of the new tax revenue? Where's the interviews with the people who avoided over betting because of the guardrails the company's put on their app? Etc, etc,. Biased, biased, biased. Like everything on tv is.
People joke about how dumb gronk is. But that was actually a very good answer LOL i know he was media trained for that, but his answer was sooooo good LOL DID NOT EXPECT THAT. I don't endorse gambling i think it is awful and it will be/is the next health crisis and will only increase depression, suicide, and illicit drug use. But as a long time football fan that answer by Gronk was legendary LOL
I understand your point of view as a pro sports bettor / casino gambler myself but it's just 3% who can achieve making profit in the long run. Not even talking about making enough to go pro. Also if u are a long term winner at 'soft' bookies like Draft Kings, they will give u a personal limit ( 2 or 5 bucks max per bet ) and they will be worthless to use. Pro sports bettors betting in gamble shops ( like in Vegas ) or like me at sports exchange like Betfair or a couple Asian bookmakers out there who do not limit players. I do it via a sportsbroker ( which are not allowed in the US ). Agree with you that they should also interviewd somebody who is a pro and can tell people watching this how it really works etc...

Legal gambling revenue across Africa has almost tripled in the past decade, to $7.3 billion, according to research house H2 Gambling Capital. Although the continent's betting market is only about half as big as Germany's, gambling represents a growing-and worrisome-share of many economies. In Rwanda, for instance, it equals 0.59% of gross domestic product-about double the level in Germany.

Sportbooks and casino make eager use of the weak mental condition/discipline of the vast majority of the population. This of course also applies to tobacco and alcohol companies which a lot of people know the danger of. It seems as if sports betting is still seen as innocent for a lot of people.
You have to loose in order for someone to gain. My little cousin thinks this is cool and I make him feel really dumb for doing it. Smh im glad to see there are other people that can see the deception. Hopefully more people wake up to the bs.
Gambling has been around since the beginning of time you guys just live in medieval times there’s plenty of winners and gambling. Also, somebody has to win.
Hi so best live news around the world🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎❤❤❤❤❤
Up half a mil and gave it all back wow
Losers gamble more than a couple of bucks. The less you bet the better.
10 -12 parlays lol
I honestly live within a mile from a casino n I've never been there. Not saying m a purist... But it just doesn't happen for sm of us
One out of five gamblers will not try to commit suicide. Don’t believe it.
Just interview ohtani
Crazy to see that even a psychiatrist could become a gambling addict, interesting to see her perspectives
A lot of sports betting are fixed game. Stop gambling! It’s not worth it 😂
This documentary is flawed, there always 2 sides to a coin , they didn’t interview successful pro sport betters who make a living off draft kings
In India also, like dream 11, my 11 circle
I lost 125 lost in 1x
bruh I only bet on sports not at the whack online casino

Whats the point of doing this if you can even win long term or somehow get profitable? just get a job and leave this alone lol.... whats the point of doing something if you can't get up off of it? i know it is an addiction though
Or just put it in the stock market.
Stocks average 6-8% return. Gambling averages 0%.
Try to play responsibly ❤
"I don't have control over myself, iieeeee"
In Afrika it is even worse.
I thought this was western world problem, care to elaborate please
Legal gambling revenue across Africa has almost tripled in the past decade, to $7.3 billion, according to research house H2 Gambling Capital. Although the continent's betting market is only about half as big as Germany's, gambling represents a growing-and worrisome-share of many economies. In Rwanda, for instance, it equals 0.59% of gross domestic product-about double the level in Germany.
You need to work on the editing and the commentator is so boring it’s a great subject but it was boring
A $10 bet is fun but addicts are always going to find something.
All about control and money Management none of these books putting a pistol to our heads.its a battle and we gambinos fighting them to win and not lose.aint drugs yall and we live once.but to those who are feeling weak and addicts God bless and God is Good. have faith and hope.Stay Strong.its a ups and down game of life.Yo Time to Shine will come.Drive Slow
Y'all know about prohibition right?
At first it seemed the right thing to do.
Now look what it bred, and the after affects one hundred years later.....that 2018 supreme court decision is worse....MUCH MUCH WORSE!
A tragedy, that will engulf most of us and our families.😢
The cost of the problem will outweigh the tax revenue within 10 years.
Sports betting has, until 2018, been mostly illegal. It was an illegal thing turned into a legal thing.
Prohibition the opposite. It turned a legal thing into an illegal thing.
I deactivated my account after I went down a grand, and never looked back. But it truly is not the companies' fault for grown people having no responsibility over their own hard-earned money. You are a degenerate if you lose 50,000 gambling like the guy in this video. When do you think to stop? Ridiculous
Your neighbor going into debt affects the whole neighborhood. If enough people lose their money to gambling, it stops becoming an individual problem and starts becoming everyone's problem. I don't blame the government for trying to prevent people from financial disaster, especially when the economy sucks as much as it does.
This is truly terrifying. As if thos country doesn't have enough problems with addiction. Im so scared because i believe my son has gambling addiction. He is 32. Me and my other son are recovering alcoholics so addiction runs in our family
Only losers are like this, trust me. Winners get limited
That's correct. 'Soft bookies' give u personal limits when they feel like u are a long term winner.
Everything regarding the human condition is non condusive to humanity
Don’t forget those of us that win over n over n the app cuts us off n cheats our profile.
Grown adults with no self control, of course not taking any accountability. Losing 500k gambling? It's not an addiction, it's stupidity.
It is actually both things - stupidity and addiction.
