Hi Lexi, all.of them look amazing on you! The second and third, Diorelita and Peony Pink are my favs and I can see you reaching for them often bc they're such perfect everyday shades. Love the different cases as they're not only pretty to look at but make it easy to remember what's what, lol. I'm sure you will make that fourth case yours once it becomes available. Thank you for the try ons, comps and insight. Btw, the red shade you're wearing is a real showstopper!! 🥰❤️👏

Beautiful new shades. I only recently purchased my first lip shine lipstick in Diorette, and I love it very much. Love the feeling and don't mind having to re-apply.

Thanks for doing this review. Dior has terrible swatches online. I have complained to their CS people multiple times. Why can't they at least do what Chanel does? Give a fair, medium and deeper skin tone for lip and nail swatches? Also, as you pointed out, this formula feathers a lot. And, for those of us who have some extra years on us, lipliner doesn't help. Using a lip liner then blotting Does help, but then you lose that vinyl shine. Thanks for the video!💚
I agree with you! Chanel does a decent job with swatches and Dior really needs to make that a focus. I really don't understand why brands don't focus more on having accurate color representations.
@@LexiJong What I don't get is that it costs them so much money. Unlike other retail items, there is zero resale for returns. Just think how much money these companies, and the retailers who carry them, would save with better online swatches.
They keep trying to do this jazzy Try-it-on-Yourself garbage that doesn't work, but that some guy in IT, who clearly knows nothing about makeup, convinced them to buy. I can buy paint online. Pantone does a good job with swatches as do a variety of paint companies. How is makeup different?
@@DeborahCarlston I completely agree with you. It really does not make sense. I guess they think more people will just keep buying to see different shades and that only a smaller percent will return them. They really need to learn from the paint companies. I have seen some of the photos that companies take before they edit them and they change the coloring so much with the editing process - it just doesn't make sense.

Thanks for your review, all of them look great on you. I am suprisingly tempted by Dior ribbon shade❤️! I also like this formula for Summer, I have not worn these lipsticks during Winter at all to be honest.

They are all so pretty, especially that red one. But, I have my eyes 👀 on the CdP cream and shiny lips.
Personally I think the CdP are a better choice.

Hi Lexi! Thank you for featuring these new cases and shades. They obviously all look great on you. What I most noticed, though, was your velvety skin -and then I checked what you were wearing….well I cannot wait for THAT review - especially the rose shade. I love mineral powders - they blur my pores and they don’t get patchy when it gets hot and humid. I cannot wait to see and hear your opinion.
I have to admit that the highlighter is incredible and probably my favorite highlighter release in a long time. The bronzer is a great formula too but the gucci shade is still better for me than what I bought. I'm hoping to have the review up next.

I picked up 521 yesterday. Very pretty. Love the consistency! Feels great. They engraved my name on the black case! I'm new to Dior makeup but loving that touch.

@Lexi Jong I'm currently living in Paris so not sure it has made it stateside as the mua said it's new but yeah, super fun! Can choose between 2 fonts and choose silver or gold.

I haven’t purchased a Dior lipstick in ages, but they’re really lovely. Like you, my preference is the white case. (Maybe the covering is a laminate?) I’m leaning toward the Pink Peony shade, but loving Mallow Rose, too. Currently I’m enjoying my Guerlain KissKiss Bee Glow in Poppy. (Think I need Blossom though.) It may sound weird, but I’m reaching for VB’s Alter Ego lots - even topping it over my favorite Sisley Sheer Rosewood. Just an extra fresh pop! Spring awaits! Thanks, Lexi.
The Guerlain kisskiss lippies are still some of the best imo! I'm so glad you are enjoying poppy. I love how you are using alter ego - I will have to try that combo!
I got four of the lip shine colors (the three middle ones you got and the brown one (812 Tartan). I skipped on the cases. I have the one with the wildflowers and never really use it. But they are pretty.

Hi Lexi, always love your reviews/swatches and comparisons as I have a very similar skin type/tone to you. I have Mallow Rose and it is lovely - I also plan to add 1-2 more from these latest releases.
My all time favourite lip product and colour is Chanel Rouge coco shine in number 60 Antigone which is of course discontinued now. I am on my last backup 😢 Any chance you have this in your collection and could recommend a dupe from a similar sort of formula from another luxury brand/s (or even a Chanel Rouge coco flash) that is currently available? Thanks so much 😊
Unfortunately I don't have that one in my collection. Check out a soft application of Guerlain Rouge G 62 - that looks like it might be similar but more pigmented perhaps with one swipe. Also the Sheer Raspberry from Sisley phyto-rouge shine looks like it might be close. That formula is more similar than the Guerlain.

They are similar but the Dior is warmer. I just posted a photo and quick comparison on the community tab so you can see them. I hope this helps!

I'm looking for the most blue toned lipstick in this range and somehow it's pretty difficult online. Can you recommend on some shade?

I don't really think any of the reds I have in this line are a true blue-toned red. Dior tends to run warmer than their swatches but if I had to choose one, I would try 872 Red Heart or 758 Lady Red. 856 Defile is probably pretty neutral but you might like that one.

Lexi I have a question that is completely off today's topic. I have several eyeshadows that are the last one/color in a quad (for example). How can I condense them all into one palette where I can open it and have the selection or array more shown all at once, rather than have multiple quads in my drawer that have only one color left? Any suggestions as to how to condense and organize? Much appreciated. Thank you!
I would take out the pan (if they are magentic, they pop out but if they are glued, you can use a hair dryer to heat the bottom a bit to loosen it. Then condense them into one palette. I like to use magnetic stickers for ones that aren't magnetic. Another option is to. crumble it and make it a loose powder shadow and store in little jars.

I don't know if it will yellow or not but it is definitely a possibility. I know ten years ago, that texture would definitely yellow over time but now the materials seem to be better about that so I'm hopeful it won't.

I find that the nail polish as well as the lipstick shades are all cooler on the Dior website than they are in reality. I wish they would fix that problem. I am afraid to order polish from them as the color is always off. Thank you for the swatches they were cooler on the website.

You have options. You can buy the lipstick with the black case and some shades are available just as a refill. The special cases are purchased separately.
These are all so beautiful. However, I have my eye on the Valde Beauty.

I don't have the recent ones but other people have said it doesn't fit. My old dior addict balm fits but it was the previous generation.

Does anyone know definitively if the Lip Glow balms fit into these cases? I reached out to Dior directly and *six months later* they finally responded, only to give me a vague non-answer that didn't actually answer the question. My question could not have been more clear. I guess if you're a nobody, you get terrible customer service.
All these companies are abysmal at 1) bothering to even answer questions and 2) providing actual answers that directly address the question. They are all content to take our money, but provide zero customer service. Interestingly, small local cosmetic businesses are incredibly attentive in answering questions I have, and at least consider any suggestions I might present. Stark difference.

I just tried these dior addict lipsticks. I am SO pissed. They don't last long at all. Like totally gone within an hour or so
I am so sorry to hear that! They definitely last longer than that on me but these glossy styles are not known for long-wear in general. If you want a very long-lasting glossy lip, check out the new armani lip maestro satins. They are incredible - similar appearance on the lips but they last many hours!
