Loona is one of the best GG's of 3rd and most likely 4th Gen for many reasons. 1. Very big, diverse discography. Many different songs and collaborations between girls, solo songs, and their songs as 12. The fact that they have more songs than Blackpink, but existed for the same amount of time is very surprising. It might be YG, but Loona and BBC are still better to me lol. Also, all of Loona's songs sound different, but have that sheer "Loona" style that makes them all special. We had a song like Hi High, but then a song like Favorite. A song like Heat, and then a song like Perfect Love. But they all have a special Loona style that makes it beautiful and special to the group. 2. They have a big story. Loona's story is so big, vast and deep that they conceptually need their own universe (LoonaVerse). This makes the group interesting and more than just beautiful and talented girls making songs for their fans. No. There is something to follow, make stories about, talk to others about. There are many other groups that share the same type of thing (BTS has it's own universe too), but Loona puts so much emphasis on it that it's their own key point. For example, imagine being a new fan and hearing this: "Choerry is the only member who can switch between the different sub-unit universes. She most likely knows where Yeojin is too, if Yeojin IS trapped in another universe after all. There is also a chance that Choerry is the most important member of Loona when it comes to the theory, as she most likely rules/leads the others. Because we see Haseul in Chuu's MV, they are different universes. So, maybe, just maybe Choerry can transport members through other parts of Loona's universe?" Wouldn't you be intrigued? Let's end this here, you get the point. 3. Amazing vocalists. Haseul is better than most main vocalists in more developed or popular groups, again, like Blackpink. Haseul has a rich vocal, her range is very big too. In some songs, her voice is sweet. In some songs, her voice is deep and sexy. This demonstrates her ability to change her tone of voice to match the song. This is not easy. She can reach notes (with occasional straining) that many Kpop GG members can't. In Chuu's case, she has all the same abilities as Haseul but there isn't footage of her straining her notes, so I can't say that she does or not. But if she didn't at all and I was sure of this, then I would think she's a better vocalist. And there's a chance she is too. Also, despite them being lead vocals, they (Yves, Jinsoul, Kim Lip, Heejin) they could be main vocals in most groups. Even Hyunjin and Choerry have beautiful and versatile vocals, and they are standard vocalists. 4. Amazing dancers. Yves might not be better than some of the more popular dancers like Momo, Lisa, Seungyeon and others but she could still be on a top 15 GG main dancers. She has such flow and precision, she also has charisma and a beautiful smile. She's flexible too. Her moves are sharp and despite having to do more vocally challenging parts her dance NEVER lacks. Heejin is not as great, but still has skill in dance. Heejin, like Lisa, is very charisma based when dancing. Meaning she doesn't really focus on her movements, but more on looking pretty and energetic. There are other good dancers in Loona, like Hyunjin (and imo Hyunjin is better than Heejin), Gowon, Choerry, and others. 5. Lastly, Loona has great rappers. Sure, none of them are better than Jennie or Chaeyoung, but Jinsoul can beat quite the list of girls. Choerry, Gowon, Olivia, and Yeojin not so much, but still they are good. Not just in speed, but in flow and tone of voice. We're not even gonna talk about visuals because it doesn't take a plastic surgeon, a painter and whatever else to think "LOONA IS PURE VISUALS!". Stan Loona, stan talent, visuals, personalities, and just overall an amazing group. 🌙❤️
