I'm currently using Mibro Lite and I'm inclined to go for this watch as I saw that you can change straps on it which is easily available. I think leather strap would look good on it. Kind of classy.

I haven't used the redmi watch 2 lite but when I was searching for a watch to buy I also looked at redmi watch 2 lite. Redmi watch 2 lite has GPS. And it might have better watch faces. But I chose RS4 plus because it was cheaper and it had an Amoled display (Redmi watch 2 lite doesn't have an amoled display). The RS4 plus watch also looks more premium.

This one ended up being longer because I wanted to explore almost every single thing about the watch in this video. I don't think I'll be making longer videos like this because this one took way too much time to edit. I'll keep most of the videos under 10 minutes :)
I purchased this watch last week and in its budget. I think the only advantage it has is smooth 60hz display. Smooth animations and maybe battery life. My disappointments were the lack of watchfaces and no always on display which could be fixed with software updates. If Haylou allow 3rd party apps for watchfaces thn it could be one of the best option in this budget
My favorite thing about the watch was the smooth display as well. But I didn't really like the software and I also didn't like the fact that the watch didn't support custom watch faces. I had used mi band 1, 2, 3, and 4 before and I really liked the software of mi band. I ended up selling the watch and buying mi band 7. Companies usually do not add features such as Always On Display in an update because they hadn't built the software and hardware with AOD in mind. So I never expected this to be added to the watch but I expected them to add support for custom watch faces but they didn't. Instead, the started removing features that they had included at launch (they removed the temperature sensor app).

Having no AOD is fine for me as it reduces battery life but the lack of variety in watchfaces is my main issue with this watch. If only haylou allow 3rd party custom watchfaces then it will be the best budget watch. Right now, it has around 130 watchfaces but still only few ones are better, rest are mostly childish and less informative. I'm thinking of switching to either Kr select or maybe Mi band 7 pro or something similar in coming weeks

@@robo6336 no it doesnt...but you still can set a black theme and choose to leave the screen on for 30 minutes. it's quite similar to the aod with the low consuming battery because the black pixel does not appears on the amoled screen
@@sus8575 Not quite similar. Always on display autodims as well, and autoilluminates when you need it to. Which is where the majority of its battery saving takes place, not just because of the amoled display being able to 'turn off' other pixels.

Ihaven't tested GTS 2 mini and Mi band 7 Pro so I can't really compare these. But my personal experience with mi has been great. When I bought RS4+, Mi band 7 Pro hadn't been announced. If it was announced, then I would have bought Mi band 7 Pro because I like mi's software and Mi band 7 Pro also looks quite nice.

People in my comments told me that they don't have the temperature sensor option. I had the option but I got an update for the watch. After installing the update, the option was gone.

I don't think they will add AOD. That's highly unlikely. Most companies don't add major features such as AOD after releasing the watch. As for custom watch faces, that depends on the effort of the community. If the community of this watch grows and people start trying to figure out how they can create custom watch faces for this smartwatch, then I'm sure that custom watch faces will come to this watch. RS4 had custom watch faces so I'm hopeful that RS4+ will also get custom watch faces.
The app you're talking about is probably Hello Haylou. Hello Haylou doesn't support custom watch faces for RS4+. The developer of the app said that the format of RS4+ watch faces is currently unknown so the watch doesn't support custom watch faces. The video you're talking about doesn't show custom watch faces. It only showed the option for the custom watch faces but that option didn't work so the developer removed it from the app.
Haylou themselves removed it. Probably because it wasn't accurate (?) Or because it needed to be optimized. Either way I don't know if it'll come back because haylou doesn't really communicate with their customers, it hasn't come out this update but maybe next time it will so like new years?
@@theotheo143 I have dropped the watch a few times because of the strap. The strap hit a door once and a desk once. The strap opened and the watch fell. The strap is quite nice but replacing it would be better to make the watch last longer.
Watch Faces aren't good enough, only 3 or 4 are really usable. But theres a app called Hello Haylou that have a capability to install new watch faces from internet and the dev will update it soon. One other thing I would love to have is the ability to automatic sleep mode, turning off notifications.

@@samz.1 You can now apply custom background to the watch. But that doesn't really count as custom watch faces. In custom watch faces, we can apply any font and any design in any configuration. Mi bands have really great support for custom watch faces. In mi band 7, people have also created games which can be set as the watch face.
I haven't tested mibro x1 so I can't really tell you much about it. I have checked a few videos of mibro x1. I personally don't really like the look of mibro x1. I prefer the cleaner look of RS4 plus. And one of the biggest plus points about RS4 plus is the 60hz display. The display is very smooth and feels really great to use. You can compare the pros of both of the watches yourself and then decide which one is the better package for you.

No, the default app doesn't have the option to customize the watch faces. There is a third party app which allows customization of watch faces on some models of Haylou smartwatches but that app doesn't support custom watch faces for RS4 Plus either.

I have made a detailed review about the functionalities of the watch but I didn't have a way of measuring the accuracy of some of the features (heart rate, spO2 etc). Instead of saying that these features work perfectly, I mentioned that I don't know about the accuracy so I don't misguided anyone. You can watch the entire video if you want more information about the watch because in the first few minutes, I mentioned the features I couldn't check the accuracy of. The rest of the videos contains detailed review of the watch.
Yes, that's one thing I really didn't like about this watch. It has almost 90 watch faces but only a few (5-10%) watch faces look good. Hopefully the watch will get the option of custom watch faces. We will get almost unlimited watch faces that way.

Just bought the watch and now searching for 20mm leather strap for it. So far not a bad experience. Actually it's more classy than I thought.

Haylou removed the option of temperature sensor from the watch in an update. This option no longer exists in the watch.
