That was great. The young fella was pretty excited catching the fish. It's great fun for kids. My kids loved it. And still do. Whst a great area. Thanks team 😊
Love seeing Harrison & James enjoying fishing and definitely will have a crack at those fish cakes. We’ve left the Ningaloo Coast and now just past Fitzroy Crossing and have had similar heat issues as you on the side of our van. I got Titanium to fit a shade sail track to the fridge side of the van and it only takes 10 mins max to set up the shade wall and the difference inside the van is massive… may help keep your electrical cabinet cooler… safe travels.
Just started watching your channel a month ago. Love it. Planning a big lap in a coup of years with wife and twin girls. Those fish cakes looked a treat. Hey try next time when crumbing- 1 wet hand (egg) & 1 dry hand (flour and crumb) you’ll see why when you give it a whirl. It’s one of the best cooking tips. Pass it around. Keep the good time trackin. 😊
Been past all these places with the wrong van, had to stick to smooth stuff, now we have a decent offroad , you have enticed my adventure, awesome vid. love the kids learning to fish, come on Simon get with the program, fish equals food, food means you stay longer.🤪
As always love the vids, weather looked great. Especially when it snowing here in the Brindies atm. Maybe try some sail track and a small shade sail on that side as well. Will help keep the van cool as well in summer. Also you could look at some small computer fans to keep the air circulation going.
Another great vid and so keen to get to that part of the country. Love seeing the Fridge Friend still in your fridge 💚 Hopefully you’re getting the monthly email reminders to zap it in the microwave 🙏
Hi Guys, another enjoyable video but I have to say I was a bit surprised on putting on the info about the cockles. The guy shared it with you and you got some fish and asked not to say anything. The cockles there will probably be wiped out next time you go there. 30 thousand subscribers and who knows how many others just got the info the nice fisherman shared with one other person to help out. Anyways have a good one.
You had to get water when you went to town? And you got water in the dunes while staying out on the coast. Is that telling me that desalination outfit you fitted was a waste? Or is it justifiable?
Since I saw the vid on their RO system I’ve been looking into getting one so still researching so I’m keen to hear also why TLP have not made their own water again too!
The RO unit works well, but it has some limitations. We'll be doing an update video on it soon. We had to go into town for food, but you may as well get water while you're there. We managed 3 weeks without water which is pretty good for us!
Hi guy's Good job Try using a lighter too burn the film off the inside of the new masks hold on inside about 1cm from glass n lightly move around not burning the silicon frame, rince well rub a little toothpaste on inside rince again good to go from now on
Great video. I was excited to see you found a geocache 😃 are you going to start playing? I was looking out for you guys when we were up there a couple of weeks ago, i think I was too late.
Love the trave comment for groceries... getting stuck behind a caravan and a boat hahahahahahahaha Llike to make a Meal planner then in shop I just make it up as I go .. hahahah
The fish being caught in this video are Blue Salmon (no minimum size) which are a member of the Threadfin species. Not to be confused with King or Giant Threadfin Salmon which have a minimum size limit of 450mm.
So your desal system still out of action until you get yourself another Karcher pressure washer (pump)? With direct access to all that (sea) water, it's a shame you can't make use of it to get all the water you could ever need/want and at least take that straight off your huge 'to do' list 🙂
Why don't you just attach shade cloth using sail track on that side of the van? I did it to my old van and dropped the van temp down as well. I also served as a shaded car port! I add more places to my list after every episode. Why do you use the ARB tyre deflator and not the screw on ones like Staun, etc. It would be faster when airing down 8 tyres!
I like the idea of those shade sail tracks. We'll probably do it one day. I've played around with Staun deflators but they're too hard to accurately set your pressure

The kids love it. Dad, not so much 😂
Great part of the world. Enjoy ❤
Thanks! We are!

Cheers. That's handy to know.

Welcome! We love hearing from new people. Glad you're enjoying the vids. Thanks for the cooking tip, seems so simple when you think about it.
Morning 👋 Nothing like a fresh catch straight in the pan.🎣What an awesome 4WD track, great drive. Say Gidday to all the crew for us 🤗
Hey! Will do, thanks! It's been so nice.
Been past all these places with the wrong van, had to stick to smooth stuff, now we have a decent offroad , you have enticed my adventure, awesome vid. love the kids learning to fish, come on Simon get with the program, fish equals food, food means you stay longer.🤪
Great to hear! It's worth it!
Another great video! Love seeing the hole in your hat getting larger as you go on, old faithful hanging in there 👍🏻
Thanks 👍It keeps getting better 😉

Thanks for the idea, maybe one day. There are fans in there but we still had a lot of heat build up.
Another great vid and so keen to get to that part of the country.

Thanks mate! Yeah, we love the fridge friend. We don't have a microwave though, any other suggestions?

Glad you enjoyed it. It was a bit of a joke, not to be taken seriously 👍

That's what I was thinking, did we miss something?
Since I saw the vid on their RO system I’ve been looking into getting one so still researching so I’m keen to hear also why TLP have not made their own water again too!

Cheers, we did that with some which worked well, but we found with the cheap kids ones it didn't work as well?
Great video. I was excited to see you found a geocache 😃 are you going to start playing?
I was looking out for you guys when we were up there a couple of weeks ago, i think I was too late.
Thanks, Pam. We're not actively playing, but we might stumble across more. Hope you had a great time.
Overheat probably means loose terminal screw in the mppt
Good to know, thanks
Great video 😊 can you please share some meal plans Liz? Would love to get my head camping off grid 😉
Thanks! We'll keep it in mind.
delightful
Thanks!

Hmmm threadfin have a legal minimum guys! 😮
Only the giant threadfin, not these ones.
The fish being caught in this video are Blue Salmon (no minimum size) which are a member of the Threadfin species.
Not to be confused with King or Giant Threadfin Salmon which have a minimum size limit of 450mm.
Looks like a boat could be mr Simon ,
Hmm. Not convinced yet. There's not that many places you can use them.

We've replaced the pressure washer and it's working well but you might as well grab water while in town.
Are dogs allowed at these camp sites along the Nullarbor, thanks for the video. Kindly Linda
I believe so
What's happening with the Desalination set-up. Still not going.
Yep, still going. May as well get water when we're in town anyway. We did 3 weeks without going into town, but couldn't do that with it.
