I’m JUST getting into sonic right now and haven’t played many games at all. I have a ps5 so I’m very hopeful for this. Even if it’s not the best I want a chance to experience this game.
I know y’all didn’t ask but I’ve been a sonic fan for 7 years so I’ve been able to experience most of the good sonic games except for the Wii sonic games, sega Saturn and heroes
What I don't understand is that Shadow will be the only playable character? 2 Sonics and Shadow? I know Forces did the same with Avatar, but that game is about a world war. This game is called "Sonic Generations," which is essentially about reliving the past. Why the hell would they choose this game for a Shadow only special? Am I the only one who realised how much sense this does not make at all? What would make more sense if they remastered Adventure 2, the game where he made his debut.
Now hold on orgins added a whole bunch of stuff including another playable character and all the sonic game gear games in what was originally a Genesis collection also sonic colors ultimate had some pretty cool customization but blind squirrel kind of bomb it a bit
it makes complete sense from sega's perspective. unleashed or heroes are much more risky from a business standpoint; even sa2 is more of a risk than a universally praised, more recent game like gens that can also carry the brand by being an anniversary game.
Realistically,sonic generations is better acclaimed then the adventure games and unleashed ,it’s loved by both critics and fans that’s why it’s getting a remaster before any other game even if it doesn’t need it
The only reason I would buy the game is if they have the DS levels a new story and new playable characters (not just sonic reskins) new missions and have stuff from new games like lost world are foresees and add the rest of the classic characters like Amy and knuckles but if the game is the same and they just add shadow I’m not getting it
You know what from one miracle to have all the advances games or rush. I guess have that thing in frontiers like the speedrush mode That would be lit but i don't know😒
who cares, generations was great and they are only going it make it better lol, dont wet yourself over them not choosing older games such as heroes or the adventure series as SEGA has already acknowledged and expressed immense interest in also remastering those games aswell.

Well if you looked at the trailer shadow was also in past levels against past bosses
You can literally play sonic unleashed on xbox series x and s let alone play it on pc. But i do agree a remastered/remake would be moist.

Yeah I know. But at launch they were both problematic. Origins only got some of those things a year later

The idea of going through old stages again after beating them the first time is a stupid idea and I’m very happy that they cut that.
As a steam deck user its horrendous that sega is willing to gate keep unleashed from us and pc users
