For me, it’s way better than Book of Boba Fett, Mando Season 3 and Obi-wan; it has an interesting plot, fresh ideas (different galaxy), lots of lore deepening, many easter eggs, great casting & acting and finally awesome lightsaber fights again (ROTS vibes), oh and I absolutely love Kevin Kiner’s soundtrack and it’s so awesome to have him score for live action stuff after Clone Wars, Rebels, Tales and Bad Batch🙌 Oh and yeah, Episode 5 was something else😭 From the clone wars flashbacks to Hayden’s Anakin/Vader portrayal it had everything I could ask for and the awesome thing is we still have 3 episodes left and I have no idea what’s going to happen so yeah, hopefully the show sticks the landing😁🙌
@@ChillAstronaut I couldn’t have put it better myself. I’m loving this show. It so refreshing after everything Disney has done. It makes me excited to see what Dave Filoni will make with his movie. I can’t wait to see Thrawn. If he’s anything like what Timothy Zhan created I’m going to be blown away. I also believe we’re going to see Anakin at least once more in Force Ghost form.
Definitely! I mean, I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons of Mando because it reignited my love for Star Wars after the last film and the concept was fresh, I also loved Andor because it was a completely new take on the galaxy far, far away with phenomenal writing - but this show feels probably the most like Star Wars to me because it just has it all, even if it’s not ‘perfect’✌️ And yeah, I’m beyond excited for his movie, it’s going to be epic to see SW on the big screen again after so many years🙌 And I haven’t read the books (yet?) so I only know Thrawn’s portrayal in Rebels but he’s one of my favourite antagonists, to have such an intelligent and highly strategic opponent is flat out frightening haha😁
And yeah, I’d be sooo down for more Anakin! “I want more, and I know I shouldn’t” haha😂 Also, do you think Ahsoka will die at the end of the show? I mean, she’s not in the sequels (although I know this isn’t necessarily a confirmation) and now her recent Gandalf the White transition gave me this idea, but I definitely think she’ll be in the movie and maybe gets killed off there - hoping it’s not the case, I’d be so down for a Season 2 with more stories😁
@@ChillAstronaut I agree the show isn’t perfect but it’s 1000 times better for me than what’s been made within the past decade. I loved the first 2 seasons of Mando m, but the third felt like it drove off a cliff.
Honestly I really can’t predict what’s going to happen in Ahsoka. (I’m actually really happy about that, it’s part of what makes the show so compelling) Though I will say there were rumors that someone won’t make it back from the new galaxy. I don’t know if it’s true, but I have a hard time seeing Dave kill Ahsoka. She’s his Star Wars baby 😅 and he won’t let her go. I mean she’s had so many fallouts and comebacks I can just see her living forever as the Daughter? Maybe? No? It’s a cool idea.
Though you should definitely check out the Thrawn novels if you’ve got the time. Especially Heir to the Empire. Both in that series and the Disney canon books, Thrawn is such a chilling character. He’s not totally evil which I love about him. He’s just frighteningly clever. So when he has moments he HAS moments. He’s very much a reverse Sherlock Holmes. I really hope they use his theme from Rebels when we see him. But I want the organ theme to creep up on him and then blast when he does something dramatic. I would get such chills. I’m already getting so excited about seeing him. Ahhh! This is going to be Awesome! (Also I would recommend listening to the Thrawn audiobooks. The narrator does a fantastic job at Thrawns voice. There’s music and sound fx too so it makes it all very immersive.)
As for someone not making it back from the other galaxy, there’s always the bad guys (except for Thrawn), although I’d absolutely love to see more of Baylan Skoll, really intrigued by his character - sadly, with the passing of Ray Stevenson I know that’s not an option anymore, amazing acting from him!😭 Also it could be Huyang too, so they kill off somebody without “killing off somebody” haha😂
Yeah I’ve heard great things about the Thrawn books so I definitely plan on getting my hands on them, should be a nice way to keep my hype going until the movie arrives😁 And the audiobook does sound awesome, although I’m not a native speaker and even though watch films/shows in their original language, I feel like listening to a novel like that some of the more poetic elements might escape me because I’m not familiar with certain words - but yeah, thanks for the suggestion nevertheless!🙏🏻😁
Oh and yeah, Thrawn’s theme.. I think we can count on Kevin Kiner to deliver🔥😁

Well said, peak Star Wars content indeed and Episode 5 was just a gift😭 Seeing Hayden back in action was amazing and I’m so happy they only did some flashes of his Vader suit (awesome sequences btw), I mean I’d take more Vader content anytime but seeing him without a suit and with sith eyes & red saber was even more frightening to me, as if he never burned on Mustafar🥺 Can’t wait to see where the story goes from here!
