    Are you able to take the pin out but keep the fibre and then thread the fibre into a centre drilled lens? Can you put the lens cartridge infont of the pin cartridge?

      The Optum Ring System must be installed directly behind the scope body. The lens cartridge will thread into the ORS.

    Other than they’re stabilizers shrewd makes great stuff they’re target bars weigh to much imo the weight needs to be at the end of the bars not the bar

    Can you put the E-Tac light on this scope?

      the shrewd sights take a 8/32" threads for a light attachment point.... I've the largest size shrewd of this model.. I'm not sure on the E-tac fitment so just compare that threading to the above found on the shrewd.

    Do they offer one for hunting or does any manufacturer offer one for hunters

    • @malp6280
      @malp6280 Рік тому

      these are scopes.. you could use it for hunting if you opted for a hunting style bracket/mount for easier range finding etc.... regarding lenses anything less then 18m you dont want to waste your time with anything less then a x10 power (& yes the prices for all teh shrewd lenses are teh same no matter the power, well they are in the UK)

      @@jasonnester9514 x8 is fine I'm using such at the moment, x10 would be better... so I cant say you must have a x10, as I'm also used to shooting with no peep sight "recurve style" without issues, relying upon the anchor point etc... I also shoot with & without stabilisers as no you also don't need them either

      @@malp6280 I need stabilizers I’m to shakey and for indoor 20 yds anything over 4x just totally blurrs out the range

    • @malp6280
      @malp6280 Рік тому

      @Jason Nester if your shaking when at fully draw simply reduce the draw weight until you've built your muscles upto cope & do the same until you can hold the bow at full draw full draw weight... if your sight picture is blurry 1st get your eyes tested (I require glasses for distance bit wear them 90% of the time) &/or invest in a clarifier peep sight set-up.... or go peepless & shoot recurve style "its easy & give more challenge when shooting"
      Stabilisers don't really reduce shake, the added weight would increase such due to fatigue in your muscles... Stabilisers help reduce poor form/torque..
      I've got a x4 power lens (my 1st ever) & other then not a massive zoom ability again it was fine... sounds to me your issue is your eye sight "not being funny"
      I've the x4 & x8 power shrewd lenses, shoot thin arrows all the time indoor/outdoors & as before shoot with & without a peep sight, with & without Stabilisers as it gives a wider & better experience when shooting rather then holding out thinking I really need all these added extras to be any good/have fun etc.. you dont
