He ran that far because the arrow was still in him, they do not like that feeling of something inside of them that they can feel. It's enough to make them run farther trying to get away from what's inside them. Complete pass through shots usually don't cause that if they're well placed. Your shot looked like it was well placed and since the arrow stayed in him it's possible that caused him to keep running.
Very nice harvest,congratulations ✌
That was an amazing shot. I bet that arrow in the buck and dragging arrow just made the buck freak out. I believe that's why he ran that far??
You may be right🤷🏻♂️
Congrats! Glad you could find him
Thats crazy, that has to be both lungs from the exit hole. Kudos for not giving up
His lungs weren't inflated when the arrow went thru. No blood in the nose or mouth. Probably no lung damage very rare ocurrance
Congratulations! Excellent hunting. What brand is your quiver or where did you get it?
Congrats on this hunt, nice recurve, how many pounds please ?

What brand of bow are you using? It has a beautiful riser.
He was using a Trad Tech Titan with carbon foam limbs👍🏽
All that noise & they don’t move?
