I love that first apartment. One of the few I could actually picture myself living in. I love that they did not turn these apartments into micro square white boxes and it still has the details of the old buildings.
That building is absolutely gorgeous. They've really done a nice job updating it & the amenities are so nice. I honestly liked all 3 apartments. It's just a matter of what you're looking for (after you get over the price which is actually not bad). Neighborhood is super convenient also. & best of all Cash found us a building with an elevator 🛗!
@@FrankiesFancy🤷♂️ Everything is relative. Not what I'd want to pay, but actually on the more reasonable side for that neighborhood, level of building, and general finishings.
@@FrankiesFancy The rent isn’t bad. As a native New Yorker I can say it. Eventually whoever rents them will have a profession where they can afford to pay it. New York pays the most for most professions in this country compare to other states!!!
@@FrankiesFancy the fact that you have a 24 hour doorman automatically raises the rent. That alone can be a game changer. & the finishes on each of the apartments we saw were high end. @@MamaCarola1 Didn't see the doorman but...still...nice apartment, nice neighborhood or not, the rents are outrageous. High income or not. I've sat here for years and thought California's rents were ridiculous because the majority of people who live here don't make the kind of money it takes to pay bloated rents like that, causing people to either flee the state or live in a tent on the side of the road. What happens when rents are so high that even the most moderately high wage earners can't afford a home? Then what? Being blasé about rents shooting through the stratosphere just gives the green light to greed gobblers to go even higher. Eventually, even the rich will be priced out. Just saying.
Brings back memories. When I was younger. Back in the 70's a very good friend of my Mom's lived in the Paris. I used to babysit her grandson. We were in and out of that building all the time.
Hey Cash, don’t feel bad, this apartment make all of us feel poor ( well most of us) Love both apartments, very spacious. The amenities & neighborhood is great to. Definitely winners for whoever as the privilege to afford & live there, TFS❤️!!!
I remember Riverside park from years back. I’m an old lady. Very nice place but the rent is too much for me. But one can always dream. Thanks Cash. Have a great day. Love from Atlantic Beach, FL.
The kitchens & storage are really great in this building. I really liked that apartment with the long main living area & all that counter space for cooking/baking!
These apartments are actually really nice, love the dark floors and those big windows, plus, every apartment have a good amount of storage space. Also, Eva seems so nice and sweet!
Oooh LaLa! All 3 of them are fantastic! And that neighborhood is great c the park and all the good looking store fronts. Makes me wish I lived in NY 😊 Thanks again! Have a great one..
I love that neighborhood, I live like three blocks north of where that apartment is. It’s the absolute top of the neighborhood, but I think that that part of the upper west has the best restaurants. Unfortunately, that doesn’t include that Texas rotisserie place… That place is not very good. Very bland. The grocery store is really great, but it’s outrageously expensive, but maybe that’s just the norm? Also, I live in a one bedroom, doorman building, I paid 2150. What a steal!
The real secret to a "cooks kitchen" isn't acres of counterspace, you actually lose efficiency with too much space, it's how many steps you have to take in the triangle between sink-refrigerator-stove. Ideal imho is 2-3 steps.
No me it is having a spot on my countertop in the kitchen where I can put a pressure cooker and have room to spare. I lived in a place that the cabinets were about 14" from the counter so I had to pull out a folding table to use a pressure cooker or Air Fryer.
@@justjane2070 My pet peeve is stoves that don't have space on either side. A stove that on one side against a wall or cabinet or refrigerator is inconvenient, messy and possibly unsafe.
The second one is the best. Feels homey but not super big like the first one. Last one alittle small. The second can be split 3 ways for rent. So beautiful building, laundry, nice amenities and views! 😊
From my earliest memories: late 1950’s, early ‘60s Mom and Dad stayed here whenever we drove to NYC for summer vacation. The Hotel Paris had a solarium and a swimming pool. I also recall a physician’s office up the staircase in the lobby. The elevator was operated by a gentleman in a blue and tan uniform. There was also a cocktail lounge. Dad always parked our brand new 1960 Mercury Monterey on the street with no problems. By 1966 the neighborhood was getting seedy and Dad’s car was broken into. That was our last stay The Hotel Paris. Today the interiors look quite different from the old school hotel rooms with transoms over the wooden doors.
Now those are apartments that feel like home! All of the apartments look splendid; spacious rooms, nice hardwood, laundry, shades for the windows and amenities. Cash did they have a sink sprayer? Haha. You can tell this was well planned out though, an old school building with a modern twist. Sidenote - Loved Eva’s personality as well. There are some of us who live in NYC that still like to cook and love a functional kitchen along with the right amount of counter space for prepping and other appliances
That building is gorgeous! All of the apartments are beautiful but the first one Cash showed was the best! It's amazing how high the rent is here...I would like to see who rents these three apartments...and how they will decorate them...
Cash is getting healthy! No overly caffeinated drink and several mentions of the gym! That former studio would be my style, but again, decades too late.
What a gorgeous building, great amenities and neighborhood! I truly like all three apartments - all have amazing kitchens, bathrooms, laundry, storage, windows, and views! IF I had to pick one, I would say #2! Really like Eva. Great tour, Cash!
8:50 hah! Loved this shot. Made my day! Awesome apartments. Finally something that delivers some minimum luxury for its price, unlike so many other units in NYC.
If I ever move to NYC,I am hiring you to find me a fantastic place to live! You are so bright and I love that you feature the hood the property is in. It’s so awesome!
Triple winner. All three apartments are gorgeous. I'm old school and I appreciate these apartments which have real rooms, real closets, real bathrooms, a real living room, and even in-unit laundry. No Frankenrooms here. I'll have to increase my purchase of lottery tickets, as my only pathway to any of these apartments will have to come out of my lottery winnings.
Nice apartments. The roof deck looks like something out of the original Ghostbusters movie. Is Eva the "Gatekeeper" and Cash the "Keymaster"? I expected to see the giant Stay Puff Marshmallow Man marching down West End Ave.
If this first Apartment was closer to Riverside or would have been closer to $10000 per month . Cash did a vid in 2020 that had an Apartment like that. The amenities make this a very cool space . Any of the Apartments would be great but that first on in the Jewel . Hmmm I wonder what the penthouse looks like. Thanks Cash .
Everything in that building is great. The second one is probably the best deal because the first one is so much more expensive. I could definitely live there.
Beautiful building and apts... love the first but would buy it rather than rent.. All pretty steep rents but for the building, facilities and area, it,s expected. I would probably have gone for the converted studio!! Cheers luv!
I love all of the apartments. There perfect. The price is not bad at all considering what they are charging for rent in horrible apartments in Florida and other parts of the country. Good Job Cash.......
These are all lovely. The first one seemed a bit expensive, but that's probably my Midwest perception. Compared to smaller, less attractive, places you shown for the same money, the rents for the other two don't seem bad. I might be developing a New York perception. : )
Sometimes I get distracted by the agent. Her outfit was so cute with the wide pant leg and the cute shoes. Probably going to watch again, cuz the apartments looked nice. 💕
All three are great apartments, though the expensive one is, well, expensive. The per-person rate for the second one is comparable to some other Manhattan apartments we've seen here lately that didn't have as many amenities available.
