Great to see your dad working the land and always enjoy your farming videos. Always be careful on those hills just never know. May you and your family continue to be blessed and safe.
wet weather is all over the world this year.. I am a viewer fron northern germany. today we have the 17th july and I still have more than 50% of my first cut hay in the fields standing..will be challanging to get a second cut..end of august, beginning of september is end of hay season here .. love your content.. thanks for your work
The pasture looks great after being clipped. Doesn't take long for briars, saplings, etc. to get a start if not controlled. Your batwing makes quick work of mowing the pasture area.
It's been a different type of year but we seem to say that every year. We just have to do what we can when Mother Nature lets us I guess. The drone footage really shows the grade on the hills.
Lil.word of advice.....them extra cylinder stops will slide on them rods inside the mower and you won't retrieve them......learned that lesson the hard way. Friendly heads up
Perhaps there is version of that batwing with a dolly wheel on the front like the rakes. That would add some control. Or maybe there are front skid plates. Idk.
@MorganOtt-ne1qj I'm aware , it was more about the quality of the film work I was referring to atleast the person that was supposed to get it actually did get it !
If all else is not available, spread on the pastures. Those Slingers can break it up enough to not hurt the grass. I'm not sure what is tougher: dry weather for weeks on end, or wet spells. The first one hurts the crops growth, the second gets you on quality. 🙄👍👍 Great video!
❤😊I LIKE THAT 😎👍 MOWER ❤😊
You guys have a beautiful farm!
Great video with wonderful drone shots and good narrative, captured the beauty of the machines entirely

Great Video. Grew up on a dairy farm. Milked 150 twice a day. 3:3o every morning and 3:30 every afternoon! Glad I do not do it anymore.
It looks like it is doing a great job!

Nice video Aaron
The best way to manage a pasture. Is directly related to animal load. Ya'll looking like your doing a great job
Keep it up.
Now Dad has 2 toys! A sawmill and a batwing mower!! We used the JD B and a # 5 sickle bar mower!!
Like a second-hand 6 series you can find some really nice ones out there that somebody took care of you see a lot of guys still running those machines
Your very good stewards of the land you have

Owen and Mason interested in a farming for a living? It's good to see the "all hands on deck" during haying.
Sweet!
Was doing the same thing today. Just before you posted the video.

I think john deere should sponsor your channel hell after that demo id buy one and dont even need one !!! Lmao nice machine
They would have to buy a few $mil in JD equipment to get looked at for a sponsorship.

@@Travis_Rivers I agree with you about the filming! They do a great job! 👍👍

Constantly buying brand new equipment, small dairy farms are clearly doing well!!
Was that one of your deer tree stands I saw while dad was mowing?
I sure would feel better if that tractor was running duals.
From your drone footage I see you have strange looking bare spots in that field next to road, what caused that?
Wind
@@darrenbock4953 I am not so sure it was wind
I was wondering the same thing 😊
Wind and heavy rains knocked the oats down flat to the ground. I imagine it is much worse today than it was when this was filmed.
How many acres is ur farm do u plant all of the acreage
I wanna see your corn buddy ??
Please stop yelling ! Can hear you just fine..
I agree 100%
Huh? 😂 I think the mic is to close, but it is hard for him to tell.
Turn your volume down
Really enjoy watching your videos!
