    I have some jelly rolls,I wasn't sure what I would do with, love this idea. I also did a few quilts when my kids were a baby,then didn't do any till my hubby retired. Watched almost 2 yrs of videos from those same 2, then started making them for grandkids and selling . Before that 99% of my sewing was clothing for family and potholders and gift bags to sell at craftfairs.

    It's nice to see you repeat steps over and over again. It helps record the steps in my brain. These would make beautiful cushion covers as well.

      Me too! Those tiny pieces are way too fiddley for me. I want to be able to see what I've worked so hard to make!
      I can appreciate those who like making tiny quilts and the accuracy of them, but I prefer having a finished square of 9-12-inches when I'm done. Take care!

    I'll be trying this in a week or two. I just made a pineapple block with a templet and it was fun but I have to show my quilt club how to make it and without the tool they can't. So this will be something everyone can make and it looks like fun. Thanks again for another great idea.

    Pink and gray has always been one my favourite color combinations. Love your videos. I started quilting in June and have finished 6 quilts. I haven't tried to use a pattern yet. Simply love watching the creativity flow out of my brain.

    If there were 2 strips of each print and color, you may find a short piece to add to the WOF to make it longer so you can add more strips to quilt to increase the size.

    If you put some grippy shelf liner on the bottom of your foot pedal it won’t move. They sell rolls of it in the dollar stores and Walmart.

    I like this idea. Going to try this soon. Tiffany where did you get your large ironing board? I have regular one but hard to iron big pieces or final iron on quilt top or backing.

      We made the iron board ourselves. It's just a 1/2 inch plywood hooked to an old iron board and covered with batting and fabric. I have a video from many many years ago about making it.

    Crossgrain (selvage to selvage) is stretchy, the long grain is less so.
    I have a Juki HZL-DX7 and neither the threader nor the thread cutter are working, and it's only a year and a half old.

      Jelly Roll Strips are 2.5". And vary with amount of strips 40 or 42 and Jr Jellies have 20 or 21.

    We sew in similar fashion. I have always called it "sewing by the seat of my pants".
