I also moved away from Birmingham in 2008 to Virginia and it the best move I ever made of course Richmond Virginia is just as bad but I live in the country and the community I live in you can still keep your door open and I haven't had any problems at all is relatively safe except for rarely occasional family arguments. Is 2024 now and we've only had three shootings since 2008 and that was family disputes
