If you are looking for a new video topic...how about a short video that is made for helpers that explains some of the needs of the pet photographer. Would be great to have a 5 minute video that I can send them to help get them up to speed.
I too volunteer a couple days a week doing photography for an animal rescue here in San Diego. Thank you for being so generous with your time helping out a great cause for animals that deserve a full life and lots of love
I was waiting for this video! At my event, I photographed 13 cats and 3 dogs because of time. But it was an experience! The photos came out great (in my humble opinion). And the staff and animals were wonderful and accomodating to a newbie. Thanks again for sharing your process! I found it very helpful.
I do pretty much the same except I do a more elaborate backdrop and light setup. Yeah it takes more time but I would like to use the images in my portfolio and on my future website. Not only that I got a free roll of paper from Savage and I want to start using that soon and sending them images. I agree that LR's spot healing and clone are not the best. Can you imagine I had to use that to do leashes even leashes against the body for the last year just using LR? Even Gimp does better at removing leashes. I'm so glad I have Photoshop to do that now. It is so so much easier. I guess that's to be expected since Photoshops is more of a pixel editor. Thank you for posting this. It sure is affirming to me that I'm doing the correct steps in my workflow. Yes, I most definitely would like to see you do a video on editing. Thank you!!!
Thanks Patty! Using backdrops and lights every time is next level-great job! We have talked about building in an area but when the weather is nice they really like outdoor images too. Ok will work on an editing video. Thanks!🐾
If you are noticing wb or color probs that trigger will mess up colors. I kept having problems with mine (I’m a real estate photog) and the new godox x2pro fixed those problems. Luv your work. I’m just getting into some pet photography. Been doing real estate photography for 10 yrs now and wanted to try something new. Plus, we just got a German shepherd and I’ve got a wonderful super model lol. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
hey! Just an FYI, I know this is an older video but the harness your dog is wearing is bad for them as it restricts shoulder movement and effects gait! I recommend a y front one as those dont go over the shoulders

Glad to be a resource! Any thing you would like to learn you've haven't found on the channel?

Oh that's quite a few for a first day. Glad it went well and glad I could help! 🐾
Bless you for volunteering for AFA. And what wonderful images! No doubt they will make a difference in finding 'fur-ever' homes for these good dogs.
Awww that you! Love my volunteer time!🐾
That cute little hyper dog is so precious.
Love watching the dogs run around and explore and get treats. 🐾
Great video! I have been considering photography at an animal rescue and this video was really helpful and full of insights!
You are welcome!
You captured some precious expressions. Great work.
Thank you!

Very helpful video. I NEED a storage system like yours! Where did you get that?
Really cute!! where do you store the images?
I have a hard drive system that is duplicated. Need to figure out off site storage too.🐾
@@SilverPawStudio Hi, Monique! What do you think is the average time you spend with each dog?

Hmmm I didn't know that. Was thinking of getting something new anyway. Thanks.
