How about the battery life? I've seen a couple of reviews in stanley's site itself indicating it eats through the V20 battery.
Hi, no problem with battery life but am only a occasional diyer. They do offer the saw with 2.0Ah battery which seems an odd pairing tbh so that could be the issue. 4.0Ah battery kit is more suited for better battery life.
Any comment on how well the blade and the cutting notches are aligned? For both 0° and 45°? Are the angles true? especially the 0° angle?
Good question👍, adjustments in height and angles are on sliders rather than notches.
Сколько стоит такая? Аккумуляторы от старых стенли подходят?
Looks like it struggles on stud timber
I have this saw and I can assure you it doesn't struggle with stud timber.
The timber shown was CLS treated which is actually harder by virtue of the treatment process and I have cut similar also with no issues.
No affiliation just a user of the same tool.
All the best from Australia.
Don't waste your money on this saw. Mine came with a small battery that is a waste of time and can barely cut through cls timber and runs out of battery quick. I have tried to get the blade alignment right without success. Total waste of money..
*This is my second DeWalt circular saw **MyBest.Tools** I sold my 18 volt and use the money to help purchase this 20 volt. Money well spend. I liked that it came with a blade as well.*
