HRH has said it all. Let's stop being in self-denial. The bug that decimate the crop is right inside the crop. Nigerians wake up! Like it or not HRH has carved a name for himself in the history of Nigeria. Posterity will remember him for his contributions to Nigeria. May your reign last as long as Allah wishes.
These are Northern problems and it is unique to them , so good luck to them. I appreciate you Sanusi for effort to enlighten your people but with the level of leaders our current encourages in Nigeria , am afraid the deplorable North is irredeemable, povety is their Destiny until they encourage and embrace education and making Bokoharam vanquished .... The east is marginalised substantially yet we do not have the level of povety the North witness in the East... What about the abhorent quota system?? Our problem is complex but am sure Sanusi is not one of our problem ... God bless you sir ..
The underlying reason for the problems identified is the entrenched corruption of having incompetent people in public office from the dustman to the duke at the expense of qualified Nigerians . Nigeria no longer promotes merit. Good thing the Emir remains fearless in espousing Nigeria’s problems in spite of the attempt to gag him. Poverty will be reduced in Northern Nigerian if Human Resources and capital from Southern Nigeria find peaceful anchors there as was the case decades ago. The political elites in the North are too interested in naked politics and its financial accompaniment instead of development and mass education. Time for them to listen to the Emir.
The core Nothern elites and the disenfranchised poverty-stricken beggars all over the North will definitely not like this sort of calling out, this and many more culminated in the dethronement of the Great King in the North approximately two and half years after this speech was made.
Are you serious right now? Who dethroned him?, was it the people or Ganduje and his cruked government? Where the citizens in support NO!, where the poverty striken people as you say in support NO!, where the North in support NO!, it was his enemies , the corrupt leaders we had that were against him, when in history has a righteous man ever had ut easy with hsi people? The people of kano where against sanusi's dethronment, even the emirate council that was to remove him refused to do so, Ganduge had to create a new law to remove them and change them with those willing to depose Sanusi. Know your facts please, dont forget the North was a civilied society for hundreds of years before the British ever came, we could read, write, had a functional system of government and the Largest empire at the time in west africa, thats the sokoto caliphate which streached to mali, niger, and other parts of west africa before the colonial power's started breaking it down peace by peace, the north was also not concored until more than 40 years after they have colonised the south west and the southeast, our condition today is very unfortunate but we were not the illiterates 100 years ago, and we will change our situation soon enough with Gods grace.
Biafra is a frustration from bad governance. Fix the governance, and all these agitations will go. If Nigeria is like Dubai today, no one will complained marginalisation or islamisation. Leadership is the problem in Nigeria.
Sanusi you talk but you do nothing. You have the changes to deal with the insidious oil subsidies but you fail to deal with it. Then you decided to become the Emir of Kanu and you married more than one wife and you complaining about another Muslim men who are marry more than one wife. If you are serious then advocate for a law of all girl education right then role you sleeve raise money under the Emir of Kanu then invest the money in industries and services in the north. And inspire other Muslim learder to start investing in industry. This will revolutionise the north of Nigeria turned the Muslims into industrialist rather than spending all day and night praying and being useless. You are a leader stop talking and start acting. You know a twelve year old girl cannot be a wife and in Northern Nigeria everybody knows this as well and everybody in Northern Nigeria knows that if someone has a child they ought to be responsible for that child. If you enacted a law to deal with this problems the people of Nigeria will support it. People appointed you as a learner not to tell them the problems they already know about they appointed you to act.
once foolish always a foolish, game or whatever you call yourself, this is a man whose ancestors knows the meaning of humanity way back when i am damn sure yours knows but absurdity and reign of terror. to Cabinet, better i won't fight dog for road.
@Muhammed Aliyu You should not persecute him for having a different narrative from yours . He actually made a valid point and talks alone cannot salvage northern Nigeria ... Charity begins at home so people should be able to lead by example...
@@cryptologis What is the guys offense for having a different opinion from yours.... The topic of discussion has nothing to do with his background, it is about doing what is morally right ...
@MIDDLE east Have you wondered why why most powerful men in the world all married one wife? The like of Donald Trump, Mark zukaberg,Warren buffet, the owner of amazon, Tesler , etc the list is endless . They must be doing something right , so don not malign some one for having a different narrative from yours
