Should be noted that the Power Play goal against Columbus was Clarke's empty netter (CLB pulled the goalie despite being down a man). Definitely need to get the PP improving to compete for the division. It's still early, but the results are far better than I thought they'd be. Fingers firmly crossed
15:06 Who is this Christian Helenius you speak of Eddie? 😏 1:52 Line-up graphic also showed C. HELENIUS so now we know where that stemmed from although you did say Samuel during this same part. Maybe he has a long lost missing twin brother he's unaware of that you know something about? 😂
Are we on Fiala watch or something? After 10 seasons I would be suprised if he ever changes his style of play. Fiala is who he is IMO. Hiller will either mold him into what he wants Fiala to be or there will be lots of benching moving on.
Yes, it was a sloppy start, but a great game for the Kings. We can't do that against Calvary tonight. Fiala needs to get some tutoring from a Lady Bing trophy winner - Kopitar - Fiala needs coaching, not benching. And my wish has been granted, a European forward with lots of potential: All hail Helenious!! This kid needs to see a lot more ice time "Pronto". And as far as phisicallity, not to worry; he's 6'6 and will learn to throw his body around. We have another 6'5 forward / center who almost seems to say "excuse me" when he makes physical contact.
since Fiala has been here, he has been bounced around from line to line to line and has succeeded production wise wherever he has been placed. Why put, the best King's producer over the last three years, to Kopi's line, which he's been on before, for one game and then reverse. Its not Fiala who needs benching for mental error. Its the moronic thinkers that when h scores a goal first game back, and YOU comment thumbs up to Hiller, when Fiala has averaged just under a goal every other game for the past two three years. Fiala is Hillers whipping post, and tacitly yours as well. Does anyone see him getting the business when setting up in front of crease? he hustles, he scraps. he makes mistakes, but he is low on the pole to be Exhibit A. Byefield has hands of stone and doesn't finish his checks; Trevor Moore? Hiller acting with some cockiness post game, that's real professional.
You're the man, Eddie. I appreciate you and all you do.
I look forward to listening every single day!

Thank you sir 😊

Samuel Helenius, not “Christian”.
You’re benched.
Don't put too much stock in that fact. They've played more games than anyone
Also pretty easy schedule thus far.
