So good to see your success. Loofah's are certainly becoming more popular in the U.K. and thankfully its another great step away from plastic products that just end up in landfill.
Hello Sis, check out the luffa farm in California, based on what i can see you will have a better yield if you transplanted in to pots of soil like the luffa lady in Cali. Also vitamin are missing from the soil based on your leaves. Keep on growing!
Thanks so much Sis, yup we've realized our fertilizing was way off across all our crops and now have a far more advanced system this season. Ok kool i'll check her out... but I'm not growing luffa this year as we've gone bigger in other areas, but next time i do grow them i should get a much better crop.
Thanks so much for watching, so glad the video is helpful! Awesome how big is your crop going to be? Kool thanks can't wait to share the soap making, it's become a new fav hobbie! :)
+Shagufta Ahmed Hi, they are a warm weather plant needs around 150-200 warm days to ripen. I'd say start in trays and transplant out when its warm. :-)
Thanks for watching! From what I generally know about Australia I believe they'd grow very well for you out there. As long as you can water them manually as ours, although withstanding 50c, did suffer without regular deep watering in summer.
hiya, FYI the Farm Website isn't working....it says "not found"....do i need to put in something other than seasonsfind1305.wixsite.com? like .uk? I'm in the US. Thanks again for your vids.
Oh Geez, thanks so much for letting me know!!! How silly of me to not check the link, i've corrected all the videos it now... Seriously thank you, i'd have never checked! here is the link: seasonsfind1305.wixsite.com/farm XXX

It's most definitely an eco friendly alternative, hopefully your crop can start a trend of growing them in the UK too!
This is so cool! I loooove the soap idea! I wish I was staying in Arizona now so that I could grow some myself.
Aww thanks. I've loved the soaps as gifts for my family! Well i hope you get to try growing them someday.

Which season do you start them in ? My winters are approaching in Saudi Arabia. Should I start after the winters are done ?

I stay in hot climate. When do you start them indoors ?
We started them in spring and they grow very well in hot climate if you can water them well. Thanks :)

Yes! Im growing them in southern qld from seed from theseedcollection website based in victoria.
