Thank you Felix, I watch your videos over and over, the historical significance in buildings that cause haunting is so intriging, I am a huge fan of your series, & you. Take care mate, from a Kiwi fan down in New Zealand, Cheers🍺👍
Hi Richard. 👋 this is by far my favourite episode 😊 Absolutely love your content and how your passion for the paranormal and history comes across. I know these videos are over 20 years old but still huge classics! Any more new content on the way? Much love from Newquay in Cornwall Land of myths.. legends.. piskies...and ofcourse .. Ghosts 👻 😊
I have enjoyed your historical preen stations since way back when you were on "Most Haunted". Your histories were the best part of that series. So glad to find your UA-cam channel.
I would love to visit one of these beautiful castles. I so enjoy watching your videos and reading the comments. Thx so much for the history and ghost stories of lovely countries.
Hold on ,Iam watching this on 27th of June and it’s the 28th tomorrow what a very scary story about carcasses hanging up for the lady to see,pub wine beers spirits and ghosts here! love it greatly told by you Richard and you go to the very places that have wonderful spooky stories, these stories are timeless and never get old ,thank you Richard very much for putting these on here for us to watch again
I've been to Greyfriars. The one area was locked when I was there. I haven't been to Edinburgh in many years, so I don't know if it's still locked or not. Perhaps, whenever I make my way there again, I'll see if it is. Will I go in if it's open? I decide at that time. Oh, and I must add. I really liked the "ghost" you talked to in Inverness! Quite the storyteller!!
Thank you! I live near St Andrews and it’s always a treat to see Fife on the net or tv. Learned a few things I’ve never heard before. I’ve dined in the Inn at Lathones a few times. While I’ve never seen or experienced anything paranormal there, it definitely has a unique atmosphere and you can just feel the energy it has.
cherrythescot We live in Fife and my husband took me there for an overnight stay for my 50th. During the night he woke to see a young female standing in the corner stating at me as I slept. He closed his eyes and opened them then turned over and turned back and she was still there. Eventually be fell back to sleep and when he next awoke she was gone. I slept through everything but felt steeped out when he told me. My husband doesn't make stuff up.
I like how you tell the stories. These videos are simple and that's the best way. Many haunted documentaries use all sorts of lense filters, flashes and fast motion edits which are too distracting. Nice to see natural color instead of the green night vision also.
Richard Felix is one of my favorites among the menfolk of the paranormal history world. 👻 He has such a flair for the dramatic and is a marvelous raconteur.
@RichardFelixChannel there's a lost village in Aberdeenshire called Forvie; i wonder if it has any ghost sightings (it's now part of a seaside nature reserve)?
we stayed at The Inn at Lathones in 1825 while visiting St Andrews. we didn't see any ghosts or anything like that but some bastard stole the hubcaps off our horse & cart.
Stayed at a hotel in Inverness in the early twenties- saw the most horrific sights in that room - it was not a dream- I actually saw those demonic warriors in that room.
It's sad to me that Scotland's fighting and wars obscures so much of the better aspects of it. Even with ghosts; England for instance gives you plenty of vicious massacres and murders, but Scotland was fighting for freedom. Just gloss over all the clan deaths. There are lots of fascinating ghost stories that don't have to do with swords. It brings a sameness to every video about it. This is a wonderful series overall, though.
I must point out that amongst the English forces, there were Scotish soldiers, from the low lands, and particularly the Cambels. There may have been Irish contingenies. There mayalso been French involvement. So it would be not be correct to say the battle was between the english and the scots.
That Scottish battle the last ever battle on British soil was decided before it began LOL. 12000 to 4000 hmm not good. Charles Stuart should have given up saved his men foolish man.
Great historian Richard love the stories 👌
Fantastic Richard, loving the mix of old videos and new. Hopefully more to come!
Scottish ghosts are the scariest of all. 👻 I love these stories.
Whoops 1746 not 1745.
Some grueling stories of history, very interesting, could listen to you all day Richard 👻
I'd love to go to Inverness just to hear that man talk
He's great isn't he.
Richard.

Thanks Paul.
Richard.
Interesting story, it’s a pity I couldn’t see Richard’s intro, too dark. Could have done with a light shinning at him.👍
I don't know what's more terrifying...the camerawork/ lighting, Richards humongous coat or the ghosts!
I was in Inverness in 1986 and stayed at the Station Hotel. Nice old place.

My gran was from Banff, her maiden name was Felix.

And better sound.
Excellent as always Richard 👍🏻

Good video.
Sorry I called you Richard 😅
17,000 murders all in Scotland alone. Poor witches.
King James was a cruel man.
Richard.
The Scottish parliament did issue posthumous pardons and an apology to any surviving descendants.

He should have said “documentary” instead of “video” because documentary sounds better.

Ah, yes, the Campbells.
Edinburgh kirkyard isn't haunted and never has been... ive been there many times

Couldn't agree more.
Richard.
Horrible lighting or lack of lighting.
They are very old. Sorry.

So many historical inaccuracies. Stick to Ghosts.
