A T-Rex exploding. Damn That's new, the only dinosaur exploding I saw was "Godzilla" in the revenge of shinobi.
This game honestly has really nice looking backgrounds. I would have loved this as a kid, although the gameplay looks hella brutal

I had this game and the first JP game for the SNES when I was a kid in the 90's. JP2 is known for being a hard game. It's like Contra but with dinosaurs. I never could get very far in it as a kid, and I doubt as an adult in my late 30's I have the patience to get through it now.
That Intro was better than anything Hollywood has made in the last 20 years!
I wouldn't say everything, there's been some good stuff, but yes there is a serious lack of passion in current movies.

Or even modern video games for that matter. This game came out in 1994. No matter how limited the technology was, the devs clearly put in a lot of work to make this an experience, and not just some typical side scrolling shooter.

Nice to know you like brainless simplicity, I guess. If anything there is too much of this stuff around with the recent superhero movies, but the last few Star Wars movies were definitely better than that, or the original trilogy for that matter. Quality of art is subjective anyways, so nothing is better than anything, it's all just three opinions in a trench coat pretending to be criticism.
Had this game as a kid. I tried playing through the first JP SNES game and this on an emulator. I still didn't get very far. It did give me nostalgic memories of sitting around trying to play video games while I was staying home from school sick as a kid. lol

Never knew this game existed but I probably would have played the crap out of it back in the day. Definitely some of the most generous timers I ever seen in a game who needs 900 seconds equivalent to 15 minutes to beat a level? Some of these SNES Genesis games can be speed run in just over 30 minutes
Oh no no no no, the actual time limit is 70 seconds. Therefore I question the legitimacy of the video.

Are you sure this isn't an Amiga game? Because the amazing intro and TWO-SECOND ENDING always remind me of that system's output.

I have this cartridge, but I don't remember some of this. I remember how nonchalant he seems when he checks his device while a helicopter is exploding above him at 4:23. I think I got stuck in a large dark room where raptors could attack you from either side.

It's old school. Your satisfaction is the actual gameplay, and not the story.

You had me on edge with the first two boss fights. But after the third boss fight I looked at the title and it said no damage and then I was like oh yeah. 😒😏😅
"No damage" meaning they don't take damage, not that there are no damage codes on

I have this game in the collection and it’s the hardest snes game ever. Close second that’s basically first due to it being as hard as this game and that game is super off road:baja.

Never understood, why tf does the T-Rex explodes? As a kid and until now, it made me think that all the dinos in this island were robots.
It makes sense since the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies including the Wells Fargo Center Jurassic World show were animatronics.
This game is less Jurassic World and more Carnisaurs 3

Never made it as far as the section in the thumbnail, though I doubt the game wanted me to. It was trying to so hard to make me turn it off (which I did)

So the person driving you to safety from the T-rex just goes into the pit and dies. At least if you were on top of the vehicle you could have warned him.

I remember every part of this movie! Especially when Grant busted out the multi ammunition capable rifle and fired rockets at the t rex until it exploded! Man.. that was an intense scene in the movie!!! /lol
6:56 Considering either the background or one of those helicopters is using the lower colour "NES" level background layer on SNES, the developer really did well to hide the colour limitation there on whichever one it is. Nice job.
