we could always get the ol "my mom/dad was one of the characters on set and here's some fun pics/videos from the time". Otherwise seems near impossible at this point
It's sad that unfortunately lost media like that are unlikely to get released, stuff like this is unlikely to be found. Either due to any leads reaching their end when you can't find anymore of them, or due to people thinking it's a lost cause when people just don't care about it anymore. It came and went, and no one had the hindsight to preserve this until it was too late.
As well as companies having lost media, but not releasing it for reasons (like not wanting to get into legal trouble with companies or individuals or their higher ups will not give the okay to release it).
I used to LOVE The Backyardigans as a young lad, I remember watching it on my parents TV all the time back then and my favorite character was Pablo the penguin. Sucks that the pilot probably won't be released but at least we know it still exists.
Being a lost media enthusiast has its struggles... On one hand, you want to find these pieces of lost media and have them properly archived but on the other, you sometimes just have to accept the fact that some pieces of media will never be found no matter how hard you try. I have personal journeys in involving finding and archiving personal pieces of lost media and many of them would unfortunately hit dead ends. However, sometimes by sheer luck, I do find said pieces of media and the joy in me re-discovering it again is something only people in the lost community can relate to. I almost thought that I have exausted all the possible leads I could find but lo and behold, by just using a different browser and the wayback machine, I was lucky to have downloaded archived copies of this lost fandub and I couldn't have felt any happier. Being a lost media enthusiast is a double edged sword, but we as a community shouldn't loose sight of our past victories :3
For the cat animation, I don't think it's a segment, but rather a bumper. You see back in the early 2010s when the internet was starting off cats were EVERYWHERE, an dot me it makes sense that a kids network would do something similar to Dog with a blog where they used effects to make the lips move and have someone narrate them Honestly I can't decide if it was either Disney Channel or Cartoon Network, I know Nick could've done something like this but part of me slightly doubts it was a thing on their channel. I think if it was a bumper, then sadly it might be lost to time unless someone was recording that day and kept it on them for one reason or another, again, I highly doubt that the cat thing will be found
I agree entirely. It looks very familiar to me, but I feel like that's because there were just so many things like that. It so easily could have been a briefly used bumper or something similar.
I think so too, especially if the bumper didn't give any info on the network it was on and was made to be wacky, and then was followed up by an oddball show, such as MAD. While it may seem odd now, doing wacky stuff like that was super popular at the time.
I was thinking the same. I can remember scruffy kittens with big eyes doing some kind of commercial I wanna say for like subway but I might be mixing it up with the weird Quiznos ones lol
Man, if Me and My Friends would've gotten released at the end of that year, 2022 would've been the best year in lost media ever. I mean, last year was already insane, but that would've definitely been the cherry on top. It really sucks what happened. I get the whole Sesame Street leaking situation and how it was hugely frowed upon since it was basically in government archives, but this based on a show that's ended basically 13 years ago. At that point Nick shouldn't be as concerned with that property since the show is so old.
I really hope if it gets enough attention again that the higher up crew members might just say “fuck it, enough with these lost media posts” and upload it anonymously lmao.
Mine is the Phantom Blood movie. We have evidence to assume there WAS a broadcast in a theater of the movie, but the theater has probably thrown away the tape or file with the movie on it by now. We have potentially missed the GREATEST piece of lost media of all time in terms of content and rarity.
Allegedly, diamond encrusted Game Boy Advance consoles were given out to winners of the Pokémon Journey across America contest in 2006.This was mentioned and a picture was shown of the console in a CandyEvie video.I couldn’t find the picture online when I used Google Lens to identify and because of this,I suspect that the consoles were either a rumour or the image in the video was a mock-up.Can someone please help as this is potentially lost media?Anyone with info please reply.

Wow, the me and my friends tape being found but then never being uploaded is soooo frustrating. I understand why, but it’s still sad. It’s like all of these N64 Protos that keep being shown off on Twitter recently. The legal issues behind some of these things are such a drag.
There was lost media which I thought was kinda a dead end because I was not able to find anything online, aka the Animal Kaiser OST (2010). It was only now where I found out that the full OST was posted to youtube 6 months ago, and I thought it would never be online because no one was really that interested on it. I didnt make a post on reddit that time about it since i did not have a reddit account, but there was only one post about it 7 months ago about how someone's friend (possibly the guy who uploaded the ost to youtube) found the album. I kinda wanna know more about what happened since I also never looked into the discord. But if something like this is able to be found, then I believe older lost pieces of media can be found as well.
Just something for the Sponge bob one. I was stationed in Texas in 2005 and remember this being brought up. There was a group of us on the launch truck heading out to the flightline and just chatting. One of the guys had just come back from leave, and I remember that because he HATED Spongebob. Apparently they went to a game and his kid started calling out that Spongebob was on tv. He told us the best part of his leave was where he had been staying had no cable, so he didn't have to see Spongebob for a while.... Then he shows up at a baseball game. That's all I got. One of those random memories that just popped up hearing about it. I can't even remember who it was. Just that we gave him crap about his leave getting "ruined".
I have a feeling the "Me and my Friends" Pilot was never meant to be seen by the public, like many of these lost pilots. That's just my opinion, though.
I wonder if that lost Spongebob Baseball animation is related to a behind the scenes clip I saw once on Nickelodeon back in the day. It showed Tom Kenny recording for Spongebob, singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." As far as I knew back then, this wasn't used in any Spongebob episode, nor was it in any advert shown on Nickelodeon, and since then I've always wondering what that recording session was for. If they're related, Nickelodeon definitely had some involvement making the animation, or at least allowed Tom Kenny to record his voice for it, as they've done so in the past with a sketch on SNL. If not, there might be another Spongebob Baseball related lost media animation or advert out there Edit: so the SNL skit was actually not approved by Nick and is actually the reason for Nick restricting Tom from using his Spongebob voice for outsider projects Edit 2: so at least one instance of the "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" recording was used at a Philadelphia Phillies game--no animation, just the song over the loud speakers--which says to me it's not uncommon for Spongebob to be used as a baseball promotion. Though I wonder what purpose would it be to have an official voice recording from Tom Kenny, which is a lot of effort to make and obtain given how protective Nick is of their golden boy, and only use it for one event
@@sonicfanboy3375 I just looked into that and it seems they became more restrictive on Tom providing his voice to non-official Spongebob material due to the skit. My guess is they'd approve of him being part of outside projects so long as the project wasn't adult or inappropriate in nature. Regardless, it would seem like anyone who wanted Tom to use his Spongebob voice for other work they would have to get approval from Nickelodeon
@@Account_Not_Applicable These are the ones right? www.sbmania.net/spongebob-clips-214-Nicktoons-TV-Voice-acting ua-cam.com/video/Xn4BU5sBGn8/v-deo.html It's unknown what purpose the "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" song had or was even intended for because outside of two behind the scenes footage videos, this song wasn't used in any official SpongeBob related projects or media. The only purpose I could find was the "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" song being played at Philadelphia Phillies from at least 2008, but that didn't have any cartoon animation. All it had was the song being played over the speakers, a SpongeBob mascot running on the field, and the crowd being rude. ua-cam.com/video/Yv66TOnrTNE/v-deo.html
@@andykishore yep that's it! It seems odd that there would be all that effort just to play it at one sporting event, especially in Philly (Nick hq is in Burbank, so I would think some California team would be more logical). I wonder if maybe it was a sort of mass promotional thing, that the recording was lent out to various major league teams to use to promote the series or something. It already seems like it's not uncommon for Spongebob to be at baseball games. As for the lost animation in the original post, I'm starting to think there was some sort of deal made between Nick and MLB given it's happened a couple of times. Again I doubt it would be a one time thing for a single team, but I'm not a sport person. I dunno if certain teams are more "valuable" to do promotions like this with.
At the risk of saying "well, it's better than nothing," I am grateful that we at least have more photos of Slamfest. It may not sound like much, but it's sure a whole lot more than what we started with. Really is a shame this wasn't a touring promotion. I'm sure every performance would have been unique to an extent, but if it had better press and a bigger presence, there would have been a more likely chance something could have surfaced. The one time promotion kinda doomed this to obscurity.
I have a lost media request!! When I was young I remember watching a MTV maybe VH1 special where cereal mascots were shown attending rehab, like the trix rabbit & captain crunch, & I specifically remember captain crunch telling the staff “you can take me away but you can’t turn me soggy” right before they inject him with drugs to fall asleep, I wanna say it aired maybe 2006-2007
i actually included me and my friends in a project i did for a speech class, and it made everyone curious so i hope one day the world will be spread more 🙏🏻
I am quite disappointed by the fact that the search for Slamfest has reached a dead end, but I still have some hope and I know one day it will be found
There was one hoarder I saw on a show that had a house full of boxes of recorded television channels. To the point where even if you watched it non-stop there was no way they could have watched everything as we’re talking decades of recording multiple channels every day. I think it was all thrown out, but I couldn’t help but wonder if there was any lost media that by chance happened to be recorded that is now sitting in a landfill somewhere. (And how it could have been gone through without driving someone insane.)
the super why pilot being found gives me hope for other pilots like me and my friends being found too, i never thought the super why pilot would see the light of day
I had a video idea: lost media that’s super close to being found, like we don’t have the full thing yet, but we’ve found so much of the thing it’s almost completely found
Searches that I think also hit dead end are actually two. The bubble guppies pilot The teamumizoomi pilot aswell. These pilots have had no new findings in years. I really hope they get found one day. Could you make a video about these pilots one day? Also it’s really sad how the me and my friends pilot could be easily found but we don’t have anything other then pictures and 1 short piece of footage because the person that had the tape had to get permission from his ex boss??? To put it online. And the worst thing is that he didn’t even reply back. Imagine if they said yes but didn’t reply back or just completely forgot. And if the boss said no, WHY?? why do you want to hide it so badly?? What do you get from hiding a pilot from a Tv show that people have been trying to find for YEARS.

Ah the SpongeBob baseball topic, that brings back memories indeed. I remember the contact chain hitting the dead end and then from there it slowly died out. Glad to see you cover it again, I'm unsure if it exists but I will be delighted to see it resurface!
I think I might've seen that cat news thing that storyboard artist was talking about, as it sounds like the kind of interstitials/bumpers they were airing around that era of the network. It sounds like the kind of wacky, random skit they'd do during that time when Fried Dynamite was their Friday night block. No idea if it was a series of shorts, feel like it'd be more like a random one-off thing.
I feel like I recall someone during harassed during the Me And My Friends search that put a dent in it for awhile, though I could be thinking of something else.
Yes, that was exactly what happened. Then LSSQ received a legal threat from the victim of the harassment and was forced to take town his original video about Me and My Friends.
@@MoonshineTheDragThing Damn! Maybe that’s why it hasn’t been found. Lost Media hunts should be fun, not weird or crazy. At the end of the day, it’s mostly kids stuff being talked about, and no one should take it so seriously nor should the owners of specific lost media be so arrogant about it either.
Imagine you made a friend who shares your love for a series you worked on years ago and after 3 months of talking it's made clear they only really wanted the pilot you held on to all this time. I'd be hurt enough that I just wouldn't put the tape up.
I think Slamfest is something that will resurface eventually, because it’s already on the track to and by more people being aware everyday, I’m sure someone will come forward with it. Also on the me and friends stuff, yeah it’s definitely being blocked by Nick, I’m Sure if there wouldn’t have been any issue with releasing the tape they had, it would have been up a long time ago.
Hey man, glad to see you still making great content. I’ve been around since before 30k and I’ve always enjoyed watching you. Keep up the amazing work and always keep searching!
I REMEMBER THE CAT SKIT! I don't remember which channel it was on, but I do remember seeing Cat News right before I went to the dentist. Knowing how little I remember, I wouldn't be much of help.
Based on my own personal searches for lost merchandising and other lost media, I’ve also hit a bit of a dead end, because I don’t know where exactly to look or who to contact. Also, I’ve practically endlessly searched online, hoping to find photos or something, but I’ve only found bread crumbs or things that were not exactly what I was looking for (but close to it). I also tried asking around and I got no response or they didn’t have what I was looking for.
I think one lost media search that has hit a dead end yet no one talks about is the original unaired 1986 pilot of Power Rangers known as Bio-Man. The closest that it's seen the light of day is a few clips that were on a MMPR pitch promo and two shots of people running away that were shown on the original MMPR pilot episode. Miguel A. Nunez, Jr., an actor who was in the Bio-Man pilot, said he has a copy of it but it's buried in a storage unit. Paul Schrier, the actor who played Bulk in MMPR, said he has seen it but he doesn't have a copy of it. There was a petition to get Saban to release the unaired pilot some years ago but that's just about it.
I just wanna say a pilot that hasn't surfaced that has hit a dead end, is the 1983 "down the mine" thomas the tank engine pilot. I don't see many people talk about outside of the fandom. There is only a bit of footage that made it into the actual aired episode and there are two pictures of the models from the pilot, that being Gordon's model, thomas' model, Clarabel's model and sir topham's model. But that's where the search has been so far. There has not been alot of other info than that.
the spongebob animation piece, could likely be just a custom animation made for the team itself. For example, in Ottawa, one of the baseball teams around mid 2010s would always start their game with a customized clip from King of the Hill to tell the audience to be aware of baseballs flying around.
The squidward transformation scene couldn’t have been real for one simple reason, it would’ve made the episode too long. It could have been planned, but it sure as hell didn’t make the cut.
Another piece of lost media I think not a lot of people have covered was the Sheriff Callie's Wild West pilot, which had been unaired, and the only mention of it was on some blog post I believe. It also wasn't called Sheriff Callie's anything; It was called Oki's Oasis back then.
There was a German music show that aired throughout 1969 to 2000. Episodes 2-25 were recorded on shoddy tapes, which resulted in them dissolving and the videos being lost to time forever (with a few select examples). However, numerous people had recordings on many of these lost episodes, allowing for episodes 4-25 to be reconstructed fully! The 17th episode had the first twoish minutes preserved due to a magazine and an award show discussing the show. Episodes 21-25 had an amateur filmmaker recording, with the 21st and 22nd episodes being of the afternoon test run, and the 23rd to 25th the live show itself! The 2nd episode exists online thanks to only **one** recording, resulting in one of the songs and the moderation of the presenter becoming lost to time. As for the 3rd episode, it has no known recordings to this day. Pictures of the broadcast exist, but it’s likely the episode has been lost forever. This one is especially tragic since it had one of the last live performances of a singer (Alexandra) who would pass away from a car accident only a few months after the episode’s airing. The show itself was unique for numerous reasons, which has made it have a somewhat notable fanbase years after its cancellation. The reconstructed episodes exist on UA-cam (the channel “lautfm HITPARADIO), but the third episode is expectedly missing. I don’t expect much to come from this, but I reckon it’s worth a shot
Wow, this does sound interesting. It had 25 episodes? That's somewhat low ammount for a thirty year lifespan. Was this an annual kind of thing? What was it like? It seems like the British Top of the Pops but actually live.
I looked into the thread talking about the Baseball video. OP gave a few updates. He posted a picture of him at the game. It was dated June 13. Possibly the game between the Rockhounds vs Rough Riders.
This reminds me of what happened to my lost media search. Ended up running into a deadlock with two different production companies and the only other people I could potentially contact are major movie stars who don't have Twitter DMS open
Did anybody think of asking around the wrestling community about Slam Fest 99? Perhaps the people who wore the costumes and did the moves might have a copy of their own for their portfolios.
I heard from somewhere that there was also a frog puppet character that may or may not have been in Me and My Friends. Someone said that there were more additional set photos with this frog character hanging out with the meerkats from the pilot. This person in the video said that these pictures weren't allowed to be released. ua-cam.com/video/pGuQDCiamc0/v-deo.html

With something like that being shown on online over 20 years ago, how would it ever be archived in any way shape or form? Even if it were to have been saved somehow, the quality would be horrendous by today’s standards (something like 140p or maybe even lower). The only thing that could redeem this, is if someone from the event recorded it on a camcorder and held on to it after all these years, otherwise, this lost media hunt is a lost cause.
My most wanted pieces of lost media that I want to become found are Slamfest, Shrek HP commercial, Blue Prints, Me and My Friends, Mess O Blues, Down the Mine Pilot, The Wiggles Pilot, and Snuffy's Parents Get a Divorce.
i remember your now deleted me and my friends was the first video of yours i ever watched, and i was always so interested on how mysterious it was. It sucks to see how difficult and infuriating the search has become
The Cats Telling the News short skits from CN reminds me of Cartoon Planet (slight reboot of the Brak Show). I might be wrong, but I remember that show also having a bunch of random skits in between cartoons
Looking back at it the me and my friends pilot is so mysterious cuz everyone acts like it’s something that can’t be seen like what are the crew members hiding 😭

I don't follow lost media, but I recently subscribed to this channel because I love the way you present and articulate! However, I do have a piece of potentially lost media that I want found. I used to hear radio disney every bus ride to and from school in 6th grade, the 03-04 school year. There was a bumper where I think a female voice told a raspy voice that sounded like krusty the clown to practice various healthy habits, but the only specific I can give you is one of the replies that the Krusty like voice gave was "We already eat lots of fruit! Fruit flavored candy, gum, and soda pops!" I've tried multiple times to find it through archived recordings of radio disney from the time but to no avail. Maybe it was a different radio station?
Hello there. I really enjoy watching your videos and i'm sure I've watched them all by now lol. I wanted to mention a piece of lost media to you that i've wanted to see in years. There used to be a show called "disney pixar's cars toons" which ran from 2008-2014. But season two episode five; "to protect and serve" was cancelled before airing. But not before a read-a-long book version of the plot released in shops. There is proof of its existence and a lost wiki page about it, i just hoped to bring more attention to the topic because this would mean the world to me if the episode did one day appear.
the situation with me and my friends is so irritating, just knowing that someone has it and yet they're unable to give it out for one reason or another
The biggest Spongebob lost media ever it's the original pitch for the show in 99, it was a live recreation of Help Wanted with only the storyboards made and Hillenburg doing the dialogue, in a set decorated with Hawaiian things and eveyone dressed like they were in an island. It's mentioned on the Behind the Scenes of the Spongebob Season 1 DVD (it's on UA-cam and it's mentioned on 7:20), the pitch went so good they greenlit the show. They didn't recorded so it's like just a memory by now.
I hope the "big lead" that has the tape didn't get it rejected. I remember watching the Backyardigans as a kid a lot so for me, it would be sad if the pilot isn't revealed. Fingers crossed that hopefully it's finally released.
Would be nice if you make a video surrounding lost video games. There's one specific game for the PS3 that released on disc, has very few owners, is part of a major anime franchise, yet has no information whatsoever surrounding the title. After 9 years, I've reached only dead ends on the game, but it'd be cool if you could look into it: Macross Frontier: Don't Be Late.
I think Nickelodeon just doesn’t want to share the MAMF pilot I remember a similar thing happened with the blues clues pilot. People were searching for it and then during blues clue’s anniversary they tweeted screenshots of the pilot proving they have it. When people asked if they could upload the pilot they either didn’t respond or straight up said no I don’t remember. The only entires I think we won’t find (or at least have a very hard time) is the SpongeBob or the CN cats one as we don’t even have any pictures. People have also suggested the cats one is a bumper if that’s true it’ll probably be impossible to find
I have a 5% feeling the me and my friends film is going to show out of nowhere because that what happens to most intense lost media searches like Cracks, Sesame Street 847, Cry Baby Lane, and Blues Prints
The cat news thing could most likely have existed, as cn aired obscure shorts and random bumpers throughout the late 2000's and early 2010's, and when check it was fresh new they had these filler bumpers in-between shows (like the videogame dudes at 13:08)

@kobcritic624 just don't ask me for m and my friends and how would I know because I know something you guys don't know something of witch copy of a movie studio who also help witch I know witch movie copy help but I will never share it
I meant me and my friends
BROOOO YOU JUST UNLOCKED SOME MEMORIES FOR ME ABOUT ANIMAL KAISER
The Super Why bit aged amazingly.
"Obviously." ~Professor Snape
If not, there might be another Spongebob Baseball related lost media animation or advert out there
Edit: so the SNL skit was actually not approved by Nick and is actually the reason for Nick restricting Tom from using his Spongebob voice for outsider projects
Edit 2: so at least one instance of the "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" recording was used at a Philadelphia Phillies game--no animation, just the song over the loud speakers--which says to me it's not uncommon for Spongebob to be used as a baseball promotion. Though I wonder what purpose would it be to have an official voice recording from Tom Kenny, which is a lot of effort to make and obtain given how protective Nick is of their golden boy, and only use it for one event
I've heard Nick had somehow trademarked SpongeBob's voice probably because of the SNL skit

It's unknown what purpose the "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" song had or was even intended for because outside of two behind the scenes footage videos, this song wasn't used in any official SpongeBob related projects or media. The only purpose I could find was the "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" song being played at Philadelphia Phillies from at least 2008, but that didn't have any cartoon animation. All it had was the song being played over the speakers, a SpongeBob mascot running on the field, and the crowd being rude.

You'll have better odds once you add it to the lost media forums and getting it tracked there vs a UA-cam comment that will get lost over time.
I think you're talking about a CollegeHumor video
it was a college humor video, i remember that shit from when i was like 8 lmao
No it’s not, although somewhat similar, it was atleast 20 min long & captain crunch had a higher pitch voice, almost like towley from South Park
I'm glad they went with the CGI approach for Me and My friends, the costumes look so freaking creepy man, uncanny valley vibes
it's really sad when it happens, i hope slamfest can be found
i actually included me and my friends in a project i did for a speech class, and it made everyone curious so i hope one day the world will be spread more 🙏🏻
I am quite disappointed by the fact that the search for Slamfest has reached a dead end, but I still have some hope and I know one day it will be found
There was one hoarder I saw on a show that had a house full of boxes of recorded television channels.
I think i saw the same episode and i felt the same way
the super why pilot being found gives me hope for other pilots like me and my friends being found too, i never thought the super why pilot would see the light of day
I had a video idea: lost media that’s super close to being found, like we don’t have the full thing yet, but we’ve found so much of the thing it’s almost completely found
Searches that I think also hit dead end are actually two.
The bubble guppies pilot
The teamumizoomi pilot aswell.
What do you get from hiding a pilot from a Tv show that people have been trying to find for YEARS.
and super why too. there's nothing new anymore.

The Update of Me and My Friends broke my heart so much :(
The Super Why pilot has been found!!! I used to love Super Why so this makes me so happy
Who wants to bet that me and my friends will come out online right after this video is uploaded
If that happens I’ll flip a box
aaaa im so happy I can catch yiur stuff early!!!! I used to watch ur stuff all the time then forgot
Maybe the real Me and My were the Friends we made along the way.
Dang man, Me and My Friends is probably one of the few pieces of lost media that I'm really hoping to see get found someday.
Love the videos, man. Keep it up!!!
Woohoo! Super Why pilot has been found!
And yes, I am saying this because I am Thomas fan
Good news: the super why pilot was finally found
Now we just need these:
Team Umizoomi
Me and My Friends (The Backyardigans)
Little Einstein
@@CamsOfficialUA-cam I’m currently trying to find people connected to the Umizumiz so hopefully I can help
the spongebob animation piece, could likely be just a custom animation made for the team itself. For example, in Ottawa, one of the baseball teams around mid 2010s would always start their game with a customized clip from King of the Hill to tell the audience to be aware of baseballs flying around.
Can't believe the last one is still missing. Could've sworn it was found.
Recently the super why pilot was found and it has been uploaded to UA-cam two days ago !
And i've watched it and it was great!
Good news! the super why pilot is officially found!
4:23 I’m glad this aged like milk
The squidward transformation scene couldn’t have been real for one simple reason, it would’ve made the episode too long.
It could have been planned, but it sure as hell didn’t make the cut.
18:49 Quick question, is that an image of the actual tape, or is this just some stock image on Google?
Another piece of lost media I think not a lot of people have covered was the Sheriff Callie's Wild West pilot, which had been unaired, and the only mention of it was on some blog post I believe. It also wasn't called Sheriff Callie's anything; It was called Oki's Oasis back then.
Damn haven't heard that name in ages.
@@TheSultan1470 No, it had roughly 360 episodes in total. These 25 episodes were lost in the archive

IN SPREADING THE NEW RIGHT NOW
I’ve already lost faith in finding the Super Smash video. And if we’re being honest, so have you.

Sorry. That was after the video was released.
Fruit flavored candy, gum, and soda pops!"
I've tried multiple times to find it through archived recordings of radio disney from the time but to no avail. Maybe it was a different radio station?
Could the cats with ties thing been made by Aaron Benitez from Aaron's Animals? He's worked with lots of companies and mainly does stuff with cats.
Who’s here after Super Why’s pilot was found… gives me hope for Me and My Friends! :)

Well, the super why pilot just got found, so there’s still hope for the others!
the situation with me and my friends is so irritating, just knowing that someone has it and yet they're unable to give it out for one reason or another
The biggest Spongebob lost media ever it's the original pitch for the show in 99, it was a live recreation of Help Wanted with only the storyboards made and Hillenburg doing the dialogue, in a set decorated with Hawaiian things and eveyone dressed like they were in an island. It's mentioned on the Behind the Scenes of the Spongebob Season 1 DVD (it's on UA-cam and it's mentioned on 7:20), the pitch went so good they greenlit the show. They didn't recorded so it's like just a memory by now.
4:23 This aged like milk :(
I hope the "big lead" that has the tape didn't get it rejected. I remember watching the Backyardigans as a kid a lot so for me, it would be sad if the pilot isn't revealed. Fingers crossed that hopefully it's finally released.
19:44 I can’t believe we’re so close to find the full pilot and weren’t going to get it
Would be nice if you make a video surrounding lost video games.
I really hope Slamfest 99 still gets found one day
Me and My Friends will be found one day, it may take years, but the fact that we know it exists at all is all the promise I need
I’m pretty sure Angela Santomero said she had a tape of the pilot. Though I’m assuming legal reasons is why she can’t upload it
