INGREDIENTS
1 lb large shrimp
1 bell pepper
1/2 medium-sized onion
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp lemon pepper
8 to 10 oz Oaxaca cheese
10 corn tortillas
BUTTER SAUCE
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 tsp Tajin chili lime seasoning
2 to 3 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Made these today and put some serrano peppers with a homemade salsa on top and avocado and man!!!! they were delicious!! !!The Tajín sauce really put an extra lemony kick. Super super good! I have little kids and also made yellow shrimp rice to go along with them. Excellent recipe!

I’m from Baja California (Mexicali), and we call these TACOS GOBERNADOR. They are mostly done in Restaurantes de Mariscos and very very popular on the beach. Yours look delicious!!

I love shrimp and fish tacos. I like a sweet salsa with them like mango or pineapple, but a slightly spices dressing is okay as well. Yummy.

@@veevee111 tacos gobernador has diced tomato, onion, chile poblano (not bell pepper), garlic & chile jalapeño or serrano :) This kind of taco had a distinct flavor ( due to the chile poblano ) I would suggest seasoning with chicken bouillon !!!

Awsome recipe. Easy to do. One slight change I did after a few was I used the butter lime tajín sauce to lightly fry my tortillas.

What a simple dish but amazingly delicious 😋
So glad you included the tajin butter lime sauce. I already was making my scrimp tacos somewhat this way but I was sprinkling the tajin on the corn tortilla as soon as I took it out of the skillet and I was added a squeeze of lime juice to my taco. I also cook my scrimp in butter, old bay and smoke paprika. I was cooking my scrimp and corn tortilla separately. Your way is gonna save me time!!!
