- What is the West Gate Tunnel Project?
It's a massive project that starts from the M80 with West Gate Freeway widening all the way to the West Gate Bridge, a new tunnel under Yarraville, new bridges over the Maribyrnong River and new connections to the city and beyond.
The project will also deliver 14km of new and improved bike lanes and 5 MCGs worth of new open space.

Is the hyde street exit an option for trucks to avoid using tolls, if that's the case well thought out!!!
I don’t think so, only because the tolls make them too much money, but definitely an interesting thought!

In the widening process, will all of the original transmission line be removed or only some?
Whay a waste, I would have used such an excuse to expand rail links inside that dead zone area with no public transit...
