Aero is the EPC Upper Compatible with the CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback System the Reason I ask is that I am interested in BUILDING both a 40SW and 357SIG setup using the EPC for my Upper/Lower/handguard since you are my Builder Kit of Choice of my AR15 and AR10 builds which I have made many with your Fine Products for many years now.
I'm excited for this. Still.waiting for the .308 bcg to come into stock to complete my build (minus scope) got the new breach charging handle, fits so nice.
They weren't clear about the last round hold open. It is built into the upper, not the lower. If you buy a lower and plan on using another brand of upper,..you will not have a last round bolt hold open. Kinda disappointing since I know it can be done,..I have another brand of lower that does have the LRBHO built into it.
Sold out so fast.. I don't know why they didnt just sell completes..... By the time I got my upper in the cart the BCG and charge handles were already sold out.. sure would have been nice to just buy the whole package
@@milehighbeerguy4586 , I was going to get FM Mike’s but got an email from Brownells Thursday night about Aero Precision new products. The EPC receiver set was in stock, ordered it right away. My FFL got it yesterday, going to pick up later today.

Is the EPC-9 upper compatible with a standard complete mil spec multi cal AR pistol lower? Like if I already have a AR pistol lower can I slap a complete EPC- 9 upper on it and use endo mags and run the upper ?
Save yourself the time and money and do not purchase this PCC. I went to test fire my newly built EPC today at work. We utilize Speer gold dot 124gr +P JHP ammo. It would only fire one round and then instantly jam on the second one. It did this repeatedly no matter how many times I tried to clear it reload and fire. Frustrated I packed it up and decided to call Aero. Whoever their so-called tech rep is told me that PCC’s are not designed to handle hollow point Ammo and I should only use ball ammo. Huh? Why didn’t Aero tell anyone this beforehand? If I’d known this I would’ve saved my money and bought a CMMG banshee like my buddy. He feeds it ANY avail 9mm ammo and it eats EVERYTHING- ball or HP ammo. Never mind that the Aero “tech guy” apparently doesn’t have a clue. At my job we run HK MP5s with the same JHP +P Ammo and they run flawlessly. When I told him that he acted surprised. I guarantee he isn’t a shooter and definitely doesn’t own a EPC-9. Aero knows about this issue because upon looking online there are tons of blogs and articles about this problem. Luckily I was referred to Rudy at Macon Armory in Georgia who knows the issue and can fix the barrel. Apparently it’s a design flaw that prevent the proper feed of HP ammo. If it can be fixed ($160) why doesn’t Aero do the right thing and correct this?!?! Up until now I’ve been an Aero fan but this has me rethinking such support. Now I’m out an additional $160!due to their bad engineering. Save your money and the headaches and do not buy an Aero EPC.
Are you running an aero/ballistic advantage barrel? I haven’t had a problem yet, but the main issue is the lack of a “feed ramp” on most barrels built for these things… I think Rudy makes barrels too. Might see how much they are.
@@NiqHowie You haven’t had a problem running HOLLOW POINT AMMO? I’m sure you’re fine as long as you’re shopping FMJ ball ammo but no way with hollow point. Thanks for mentioning Rudy. I’ve already sent it to him and got it back. The proper feed cone channel that the ass hats at Aero should’ve added to the barrel was done by Rudy. It is fine now. Aside from the LRBHO working when it chooses to the PCC is running great now.
@@martinidemon I’ve shot about 20rds of supervel solid copper hollows through it with no issue. But only around 250rds of ball. I am going to send my barrel to him also. This fucking sucks, I love Aeros stuff but it seems they dropped the ball on this and haven’t said a thing, the lack of advertising their epc9 says a lot.

And yes, I like a lot of Aero stuff but this is disgusting what they did here. Why not simple add a proper feed cone channel?! And then they lied to me and told me I should I’ve known only to use ball ammo?’ Sheeeeeeet. Rudy is great. Glad you’re using him.
