If BESTIALITY is tolerated and praised in a western game, there is NO reason for this game to have less artistic freedom because of skimpy outfits and gore (unless it being eastern somehow makes a difference, which wouldn’t be very « inclusive » now would it?)

With v1.03 they added two new outfits, which are similar to the Bunny and the Bondage Suite and yes those two are uncensored 🔥, BUT the original outfits are STILL censored ☝️ Nothing has changed there. So yeah, our backlash might have something to do with the two new revealing outfits being added to the game, but we just have won a battle, we STILL need to WIN THE WAR. So keep signing the petition, we are on a good way 👍
We also still don't have the uncensored gore that was in the demo.

This issue about gore was actually uploaded by a youtuber. Yes there are slight difference, but it not much, also, you need to remove the nanosuit to see the bloodstain on her body, and it was just in one boss, dude, one boss. One cutscene in one boss. You won't bee able to see the stain even in demo version if you put on "any" Nanosuit. Even the uploader said there is not much difference between the demo, patch 1.00 and patch 1.02. But people pretending to hear nothing. So no. The gore wasn't part of the censored things. Most of the death scenes having Eve got incarcerated to lump of meat, squashed into a pulp where we can see part of her flesh thrown away. If you still think they tuning down the gore for censorship, you must be retarded or just never played the game at all

Sounds like the game hasn't actually been fully uncensored yet with regard to the outfits. If they don't completely uncensor it then I'm not paying for it if / when it comes to PC. Happy to ride the high seas. Ultimately if I have to mod the game to put it back to the way it was supposed to be before the censorship patch, then I am not paying for it.

No, these are just messed up copies of the still censored outfits. Nothing got uncensored to the contrary they even censored even 2 more outfits. While these are not the original ones that were censored, they are alternatives that are uncensored compared to their originals. (They can be bought from Roxanne at level 3.)
HOWEVER, this game is still censoring the gore! Please keep the pressure going! Regardless of releasing uncensored suits with new suits and Boss Mode, we still don't have uncensored GORE!
They censored the game more by adding more weight to the skirts now they just stick to eve and have less Physics so they flow less so that you can't see her ass that much now. which is dumb because you can still look up to see it.

I like the new update but the old outfits still should be uncensored. Or at least they should add the uncensored versions of the old outfits. The old bunny and even the ocean maid are still censored.

The outfits are not uncensored if the necklace thing on the rabbit costume and the neck clasp and bow tie and removed stomach cutouts are part of the new outfits. Compare them to the original. They are just differently censored to the original censored versions. This is not a win and people should not be reporting it as such.

This is no victory. Sony/Shift Up are baiting people with these new rush job outfits while keeping the original outfits and blood censored, which is ironically even more senseless now. They want to buy customer forgiveness with new outfits with hips/cleavage instead of easily earning it by just restoring the originals. The view that this is a victory helps their assumption that we care more about revealing clothing than the actual principle of censoring the original content we were sold on. I think it’s a premature celebration and the view that this is a victory deflates and damages the whole anti-censorship cause and momentum at literally its most crucial moment. I guess people can be happy with this appeasement bribe of distraction candy. IMHO though this is still a big disappointment.

With all due respect, Hypnotic, I am seeing many gamers say that the censorship has not actually been reversed; can you clarify on this? If ShiftUp / Sony haven't completely reversed the censored outfits, then they haven't met the requirements yet. They need to completely uncensor things.

This isn't a win fundamentally speaking. In fact, it could be another bait-and-switch tactic to entice more players to buy the game and then censor the newer outfits afterwards, plus the original version of the outfits are still censored. The other two outfits that were added seem to be censored as well which proves that this was _not_ a win, only the illusion of one. We can't rest on our laurels just yet at any rate.

2 of the new suits are censored (the kunoichi suit were see-through originally) and none of the old one are uncensored....it's like 25% win, 75% just the same.

I got the game today also!! I'm playing the 1.0 version and the whole "blood censorship" is all a huge misunderstanding. You get more blood splatter on you when wearing the skin suit! I just beat the boss that everyone uses for comparison using the skin suit and then again with the green suit and I got way more blood gore on the skin suit
the "newly censored" outfits were never meant to be in the game they were leftover in the disk but you couldnt get them so we never saw them they were released later with the boss rush update the toned down the seethrough yes but they also changed the panties so she basicly has a G string to the point theres almost no panties, these were outfits that you could never earn in 1.0 cause up until the boss rush they were basicly left behind
Uncensored outfits are all well and good but it bugs me that Stellar Blade has no barefoot outfits. This is a crime 😮💨
According to the Trent Report, the transparency was lowered on a few of the latest DLC outfits that were not available in game on launch but the assets were on the disk. It is annoying but not nearly as infuriating as having the outfit in game only for it to be censored after launch. Still hope we get an unnerfed version of the bikini.

If they hadn't originally intended for the skimpy outfits, then they would not have put all the design and animation time into making skimpy outfits, advertising them, and then releasing 1.0 with skimpy outfits. If the modernity patches had always been the intent, then 1.0 would have just had naked bucks for the characters, and then 1.whatever would have added the modernity patches.
Hypnotic is right. This might not be a complete win but it's a small win for gamers, and it shows that we're making progress. However, imagine if a guy owes you $40 and he gives you $20 back. Would you be happy and settle for that? Most likely not. That is why we must continue to push forward against this censorship. Like hypnotic said, keep your foot on the gas pedal.
It's a win for sure, albeit a compromised win. The original censorship is still there, but then the new outfits happened, one actually showing more skin than the original uncensored version. So, yeah, still not letting up, but I'll also take that win.

TBH it was more censorship in this patch than uncensoring. They slightly uncensored a couple of costumes and actually censored quite a few others. So not much of a win.

They added only an uncensored version of the bunny outfit, but they haven't uncensored a single outfit. To the contrary, they even censored more. People and all the UA-cam channels are celebrating like we have won. You are sending the wrong message, and now Shift-Up will leave it to that because they think we are satisfied. Grummz is blowing this out of proportion. And so many let themselves fool by Shift-Up little diversionary tactic. The main problem I see here is that Grummz now wants to send the petition as a stupid GIFT instead of an actual "petition " to them. He just decided it for everyone who signed it and changes this way it's purpose. A gift, for what, cencoringthe new added Kunoichi outfits as well. They went one step forward and two steps backwards.
His decision will only devalue the petition and its credibility. He should first ask the people who actually helped the petition to grow, before deciding something like that on his own
This was absolutely unnecessary censorship. The whole point of the rating system for games and movies is to prevent access if you aren’t of the recommended age. Would you censor an R rated movie? Imagine if gamers also manage to get back Assassin's creed and Paper Mario TTYD at least. Although... For AC, it would mean changing a whole game, which i just can't see happen. For the Vivian change from femboy to trans in Paper Mario (something i still don't get), it would only take one dialogue being changed. But i don't think it will happen, since people don't care as much about Paper Mario. Even though, it would definitely send a strong message to Nintendo, which usually act more cautiously in those regards.

the files are on the disc and it was a planned future content release. it likely got censored the same time the other nano suits were censored during the day one patch. it makes zero sense to say the 1.003 patch censored the kunoichi nanosuits. not when the summer suits are about as peak cultured you can get, which were released along side the kunoichi nanosuits. nobody even knew about them, and they weren't advertised. and to be honest, the newer version looks much better. clearly a design choice
