In '74 - '78, I was a regular shopper at local music store and loved playing their one Gibson sj200. It was a $600 guitar then and had no electrics. This Epiphone sounds great, just as good as the Gibson, and made in China or not, the price-point is great. Ah, the sound of Maple. Thanks for the demo!

Mine sounds superb, extremely high quality for 1500.00!!!!
Beautiful sound.
I tried it the other day and instantly fell in lust.
Sounds excellent at a third of the price of the Gibson.
Were you using judt s mic. Or were you plugged in
I used mainly a microphone. But you can hear the pickup at 2:40.
Mine doesn’t sound as good and I’m pretty sure is because of the strings, which strings are you using? Thanks!
Hi, I used the factory strings. Cheers, Michael
