You sure can. Option A: You would have to feed MK3 into RC505 (meaning anytime you record a loop whatever comes out of MK3 will end up on loop). B: Most powered PA speakers now come with 2 channel inputs, so plug RC into one, MK3 into other. Option 3: Behringer has these tiny 4 channel mono mixers that cost the same as a 2 or 3 mic leads!

Finally found the set up i was looking for.....it just miss one "main" piece i would like to add, a dj controller, for instance traktor s3 or s4 whatever, but in this case, if all those babys are sync with the boss mk2 as the "master" how will i sync my dj controller to them to be sure that whenever i start a song the song will tempo sync? thx so much to answer bro it help a lot!
I've never used a traktor controller with a loopstation nor have I seen anyone else use one that way. Not sure how that would work. Good luck, and please make a video if you figure it out!!

I know it's a lot to ask for, but can I get your advice on my setup, which is as follows, - all USB midi outputs go into a CalDigit Thunderbolt/USB hub, which is connected to a Thunderbolt port of my Apple MacBook Pro (I run Pro Logic), - the MIDI output of my keyboard (I have an M-Audio Oxygen Pro 49) goes into the MIDI input of my Maschine MK3, - the MIDI output of my Maschine MK3 goes into my Boss RC-505, - my headphone (Beyerdynamic 990 Pro) and my microphone (Shure PGA58) are both plugged into the respective inputs of my Boss RC-505, - I have an extra headphone (Apple AirPod Pro Max) connected to my MacBook Pro via Bluetooth. Does this make any sense to you, or do you have any ideas on what to do better? Your comment is very appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
Glad it helped Thomas! There are many ways to set up this sort of system. What you're doing seems fine. Not sure why you need the Thunderbolt USB hub taking midi, if you're going directly into the MK3. But if this works for you, thats fine. Keep experimenting, and keep making music!

I'm considering the Maschine, but see they no longer sell the Jam. What's your current set-up? Are there other ways to achieve this? I need to be able to trigger many additional layers and pre-recorded basslines/ other melodies as a someone who's travelling a lot. (Is it possible to achieve this in logic pro?)
Hi. I have a jam i no longer use, and happy to sell ir. What country you in? Checkout my latest vid to see my current setup. And if your using Logic, you have to bring along a laptop.at which point any midi trigger pads wiuld do what you need. Good luck
The problem arises if you stop all channels on the RC-505, when you restart if you are not precise you can skip 1/2 a beat. Keep a master loop going and you will never be out of time with stop/starts. Or if you want to keep the MK3 only playing that spare channel keeps it running, and when you RC loops come back in, it's in perfect sync!

The best way is to set MIDI to "master" on RC-505, and MK3 to MIDI "slave". Midi cable goes to MIDI OUT on RC-505 and MIDI IN on MK3. I have tried it with MK3 as master, and RC-505 doesn't like being told what to do by other hardware. Feedback from most seems to be RC-505 needs to be the master to minimize glitches. Good luck, be patient and have fun!

Is their a work around to set the clock for Maschine 3 without having to lose one channel? Did you not say it was clocked with Midi?
