a great suggestion, Certina are very underrated. I'm lucky enough to own a DS action as well as a Mido OS and the finishing on the Mido is of a higher standard and the dial texture is far more interesting imo but then I guess that's what you pay for.
What do you think about the new Serica 5503 that is rolling out 4/21/20? They soft rolled it yesterday with new additions. Interested to see what you think of the series.
For a bit over $1k, the best finished watch is the Ginault Silent Service and it’s not even close. Blows all these watches away with 300m water resistance.
@@doolderaaz I'm hoping to buy my first watch soon and I would like it to be a daily diver but my wrist is 6.25 inches so it's been a little more difficult finding a watch that I like the look of and that fits. But I'll check those out as my Dad has Citizen watches and he loves them
@Chex NFX it's a $70 casio on clearance for $11 lmao. Casio is one of the most widely respected watchbrands among collectors. Pretty much everyone has one in their collection. No need to be a clown
I have the Tissot Seastar and it does wear big but it's a beast, dial is stunning, and other people always comment on it. So a great conversation piece.
I have that exact Tissot Seastar 2000 and it wears heavy and it’s huge but if you’re a serious diver and want serious kit this is the watch for you.. I live it even with my 7” wrist. Another great video Teddy 👌
Great, a lot of people can't afford a Rolex or some rich folks won't pay for one even if they have the money .1, 000 dollars is okay for a good watch .All very c at this price point .
Right when I think I've figured out the watch I want, Teddy hits us with these great options. The Zodiac looks very tempting vs. the marathon I thought I was going to purchase.
I don’t know why Teddy doesn’t mention the Christopher Ward? Maybe because he doesn’t stock them? The C60 is superior to the Mido in most ways. It’s better built, better bracelet, the case finish and polish is far superior, a more contemporary design & an easier to access crown. Mido movement might be slightly smoother but even that is nitpicking . And both around the same price 🤷🏻
Even if they're certified, it's common sense to not wear an expensive watch to swimming or diving even if they're certified, you take it off your wrist and then you do whatever you want
As a person who wrist swells like crazy depending on temperature, that Mido quick adjustment is a huge selling point.
Amazing watch too!
Certina DS Action Diver 38mm. Amazing. Can be had around $650.
Amazing watch have had one for years now
Thank you for this recommendation amazing watch I’d never heard of

The seastar is beautiful

I really like Farer aquamatic for the 1k pricepoint.
I really wanted the seastar but the watch is just huge lol
there is a new Seastar 40mm out recently which may be a better option.
I’d love to see a video comparing these with one of the newer Christopher Ward C60 300s.
It’s a tough choice between the sea wolf and the ocean star for me
Nivada review please!
Whats your thought on grey market if you just want the watch?
For a bit over $1k, the best finished watch is the Ginault Silent Service and it’s not even close. Blows all these watches away with 300m water resistance.
Mido doesn't even have the date aperture aligned with three mark. I really don't get how it is listed in a 1k range.
What about Christopher Ward trident?
doxa sub 200 should be on the list imo
Drop the shorts, go back to full videos, please!!!
Many Seiko divers for every budget.
Doxa!
A dive watch with polish centerlinks is not a dive watch
Around 1000 means 1200
ChristopherWard Better
No point in any of this shit, either Rolex or nothing.
Me at a budget of $200: Ah yes I can afford this
@@doolderaaz I'm hoping to buy my first watch soon and I would like it to be a daily diver but my wrist is 6.25 inches so it's been a little more difficult finding a watch that I like the look of and that fits. But I'll check those out as my Dad has Citizen watches and he loves them
@@yerroc9816 $11??!? Come on…unless you’re a 10 year old, spend more than $10 on your watch.

You can also look at Scurfa watches for a decent microbrand dive watch around that budget
For 200 it take maybe orient kamasu or save additional 100 and for 300 u have plenty of microbrand choises

It seems MIDO is so underrated … they stand out in oh so many ways.
Thanks for putting this list together.

I’d like the mido if the day date wasn’t so large
Zodiac
Handsome and classy
You should feature Christopher Ward's C60 Trident 300 - better than all 3 of these
He doesn’t stock the Ward. I suspect that’s why. It’s a shame if that’s the reason but I suspect it is.
Doxa sub 200!!
Tissot Seastar❤
Right when I think I've figured out the watch I want, Teddy hits us with these great options. The Zodiac looks very tempting vs. the marathon I thought I was going to purchase.
Tissot
imo the Zodiac just looks best but the Tissot has best dial, love the day[date] of the first two tho!
You forgot the longines hydroconquest
No certina DS? wow
zodiac all the way.

The Tissot blue gradient on the video looks nice
That Tissot is beautifulll.
Casio Duro is what you need.
50 bucks.
Tissot looks awesome
I'm gonna get a MIDO here in Mexico they are pretty popular
More budget buys ❤❤❤
Hi Teddy big fan please do a two tone video
seiko spb143
Super Sea Wolf 🐺🎯👍👌🙂👑😇
No Longines??
Do a watch collection for regular people dude . Watch cost under 40 .
Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba has entered the chat..
Is any of these three an ISO certified diver's watch?
Even if they're certified, it's common sense to not wear an expensive watch to swimming or diving even if they're certified, you take it off your wrist and then you do whatever you want
Teddy. I'd like a dive watch for 3000 for my 50th birthday in two weeks. What's on your website?
The bracelet alone on the first watch is worth the price tag
Mido is such an L. There's so many other watches that are dive watches. I really like Seiko
I feel like a doxa sub200 could fit on this list. Surprising amount of history to that brand.
Mido and Tissot are both adopted powermatic 80 movement which its cannot be calibrated
I have a dive watch that goes to 1000 meters
But it weighs like an entire pound
Seiko spb077j1 best looking dive watch.
Citizen Promaster beats them all..
ask a diver
Which dive watch around $1000 has the best bracelet?
I'll buy a mido without the day complication thank you
Christoper ward all day long !!!!!!!!!
Are any of these ISO 6524?
“Easily adjust ur with ease” - Teddy
what about the citizen aqualand?
Davosa Ternos is also very good value for the money
How old pulse watch work
Very cool diver watch...👍👍
Those nails tho.😢
Would love to see a video on ideas for couple watches! :)
Christopher Ward has some dive offerings that should be taken into account
I have the C60, and aside from the superfluous text on the dial, it's fantastic.
Anyone go diving these days? Nope. Didnt think so.
