  • As the title suggests, we take a close look at the carburettors and fit the engine to the bike, then the dirty old exhaust gets fitted and a few other details as well. We're not far to the finish line now; a chain and two sprockets and a seat cover will pretty much have the bike in a roadworthy state. Hope you enjoy!

Your carbs looked better than mine did! I was watching that little dowel that the spring hooks onto while you put #2 on, wondering if you were going to forget it, just like I did. You did! I don't think it's possible to service these without taking them on and off the rail at least 3 times...
Love your videos and so glad you did this series. Thanks!

"I won't go into too much detail with the carbys...." completely strips, cleans and rebuilds them ;) Love the effort you go to Peter!

Nice job. Thanks for the videos. What happened to the cb750? I keep waiting. You put assembly lube on everything so don't need to prime with oil. Your audio level is low for me. Have it all the way up sometimes.

Stock air box is a MFSOB!!! Can’t get mine installed. Would have helped if I was the one that took carbs off.. but previous owner got brave pulled them no could not fix it 20 years ago. And I’m doing a stock restro so pods are a no go.

Looking good Pete. Are there any classic motorcycle shows where you can display these machines when the lockdowns subside? I reckon you should also display the XW and XC at all Ford day aswell next year if the event goes ahead. Alot of enthusiasts would appreciate the work you have done and you could potentially gain alot more subscribers and Patreons.

You should check out Iain Tyrell (Tyrell's Classic Workshop on YT) using the hose to listen to the carbs on a V12 Lamborghini. He's a genius.

A bit of grease to hold your gaskets in mate, silastic is nasty and grease just burns off

Hello Peter Anderson and might I say how much I enjoy your videos and even though the most car stuff I do is check the dip stick every once in a while, the ads though are driving me mad. To maintain my sanity I need to install a blockometer. What's the best way to donate a few dollars or two to the good cause by way of compensation. Payerpalism is easy. Please advise.

The spacer for the upper engine mount bolt, you said you had doubts on it.
Did it turn out to be on the right side?(left looking forward)
I'm just put my 350F engine back in the frame and have the same doubt with the spacer

Would you ever think of selling one of your 350/4 as I was a 400/4 owner and loved it so I would love to buy one if you are thinking of selling. Could you let me know please.
