Proud used-owner of 7744 n Each Indvidualk Silence bought in '04 (n 8949 since). Man n I was obsessed with Daughters nah nigga not even close to ATSS' expertice..
He was screaming like this in ATSS from like 1999 to 2002 and in Daughters from 2002 until around 2004 when they started writing the second album and he changed his vocal delivery. So about 5 years of this, I doubt it was hurting him, otherwise he would have HAD to stop much earlier
@@sisir9639 I don’t bro I don’t pay a lot of attention to that kinda stuff. The other 2 albums I was talking about were daughters first album and see you next Tuesdays album. I’ve heard it called math grind core before 🤷♂️
@@Doer231 "Mathgrind" seems to be the colloquial term, though a lot of people also tie it to Sass/Sasscore. Check out Ed Gein and The Sawtooth Grin, they did similar stuff (Ed Gein were a bit darker and more metallic, Sawtooth were wackier and rawer).
@@Doer231 similar to what NoEsUnUA-camr said, but I call it Mathcore. unconventional song structures, (lots of starting and stopping, improv and parts you wont hear two times) and an intense and energetic hard metal sound. Bands like The Locust, Gaza and Car Bomb do these things with their own unique and personal sound. The Locust has elements of noise and old-fashioned electro type shit, Gaza is more instrumentally fucked, and Car Bomb has a cleaner and deeper metal sound.
The songs "Oma" and "Afghamistam" from Botch. Sikth also have a few tracks like that off their debut. As far as metal groups go, I can't think of too many. Dillinger Escape Plan have some really cool piano parts and Coalesce got some really eerie sounding ones as well.
jon needs to be recognized more for the S tier drummer he is
Hard agree. Even compared to his performances in Daughters, his early stuff with ATTS is godlike. Supremely underrated musician.
It is in deed god level , maybe above , definitely
the crazy, wide open double kick phrases in these songs as well as the first daughters album are unparalleled to this day
Melon fanboys won't find us here. You're safe.

Lmao nice. God that dudes fanbase is pure AIDS I swear to god.

Nine Inch Nails had similar piano segments made around the same time on albums like Still and The Fragile.
Thanks.
Some of wrist meet razor's material has some piano parts. especially the demo and first 2 eps
