Open Leetcode and start solving problems. Learn basics of DSA and brush up some advanced topics. Why do people think there is some magic recipie behind it?
@@sourabhkhandelwal1568 Hi Sourabh, uh Actually i got this a lot, to solve problems in leetcode(and i hope it is the effective way, since i solved free ones without analyzations, like that). But the subscription fee is bit high. Is there any other way to brush up skills. I am asking because, though i earn, but i am not able to afford that huge amt, that will affect overall budget(sharing with parents).
@@SusilRamarao well, I don't know how to answer because I don't have a premium Leetcode account myself but I think even solving the free ones is a good thing, I have learned a things or few while solving them, so, even solving the free is definately worth it. There are other websites too like Geekaforgeeks and Interviewbit where you can practice interview problems and that too for free. One of them is Geekaforgeeks, while Geekaforgeeks is a good website and has larger problem set then Leetcode, but I feel that Leetcode has better community and solution writers, also they don't have Leetcode like weekly contest. There is also an other website called Interviewbit it is also very great, you must checkout, especially its Mock Interview feature, where you can schedule a web cam based interview with some random person. I think as far as interview problems are considered, these websites have enough number of problems to get you good at cracking the interviews. But if you are looking for a more serious and thorough preparation start doing Competitive Programming. There are dozens of websites like Codeforces, SPOJ, Codechef with tens thousands of problems and weekly/monthly contests. You will eventually get better by solving problems there, but mind you Competitive Programming and Interview Preparation are different things as such I don't think anybody is ever going to ask a question on Heavy Light Decomposition in an interview, however HLD is regularly a part of Competitive Programming contests.
@@sourabhkhandelwal1568 sourabh khandelwal Hey, thanks for the reply on the suggestions, and it got deleted i guess, and yeah i was doing competitive programming in my college, now I have stopped(mostly job timings) and restricted myself to just solving more problems from past contests, I have heard about interviewbit, I'll check it out. I am also using codechef and codeforces(which has tutorials after a competition ends), which was good too.
