This was a wonderful cover. It seems to me that you captured the feel of the song without making an exact replica, which is the goal of covers in my mind.

Hi, I never comment on anything (I've played music for 14 years or more now and I'm usually pretty snarky about things like covers) but needless to say I was just blown away by this. This song was stuck in my head all day at work and I got home and was looking for a cover of this song. How many tracks was this, and what did you use? It sounds like five or so. Also why does this only have 600 views? This is gold.
Thanks man! Appreciate you taking the time to comment. Yes, it is about 5-6 tracks at the end. I used a Tascam US-44 mkii interface with a single microphone (Shure PG58, pretty cheap mic). I recorded it all into a free program called Audacity which I've been using for years because of its simplicity. Haha, im sure it'll get more views overtime, but Modest Mouse covers are slow going as far as that goes. Thanks for liking my Facebook page as well!
