Yes, we can do Manjusha, we will need to set proxy on chrome exactly like we did for firefox, we can also set manual proxy at system level and then use any browser for recording. I am in process to make a JMeter masterclass and will show it next week

Hi Avinash, You can exclude the following patterns Image (.png, .jpg, .jpeg etc.) Cascading Style Sheet (.css) JavaScript (.js) Interchange Format (.gif, .jif etc.) favicon.ico Adobe Flash File (.swf) Font Format (.woff, woff2 etc.) For your issue that JMeter captures excluded patterns, it mostly is due the regex. Hi Rashi, once you get your jmx file and you open it in JMeter, you can check the samplers and see if you need to do any changes, while recording a lot of non-required requests get added, you may want to disable them. Can add listeners. And then finally run and check results

Hi Nhung, you can filter out the requests not needed. Ideally you can set these filters before recording so that they do not get recorded. Hi Keshav, you will need to do some analysis here. As a general thing any css, images etc can be excluded. You can try to keep only the requests with url you need to test and check if this runs successfully. If not you can check the dependencies and enable the requests accordingly
For chrome, can't we do direct recording from Jmeter like we do for firefox browser? Because I always observed you are doing recording with Blazemeter first and then converting to .jmx file.
Hi, depends where and what exactly you are looking for. In general in a test plan you can add multiple scripts or samplers. Even while recording you can record multiple times

Im trying to record few steps using the blazemeter plugin...when i run the script in Jmeter im receiving Response code: 409 Response message: Conflict for one step and also Response code: 401 , Response message: Unauthorized for few other steps. Yes, this is the problem i actually faced i perform those 3 steps and now my problem is fixed, its working ...Thank You ....but a dialogue box(Transactions control recorder-stop button is given) is open when click on start button in which http samper settings show {1)Transaction name (2)Create New Transaction after request} why this field is given when i fill this fields nothing happens

Ive just started Jmeter and your videos have been grt..
Im trying to record few steps using the blazemeter plugin...when i run the script in Jmeter im receiving Response code: 409
Response message: Conflict for one step and also Response code: 401
, Response message: Unauthorized for few other steps.
Unable to figure out whats wrong. Im not logging in to the application but yes the application redirects to a 3rd party application in the login page and that where i get the 409 response.
Can you please suggest what can be the issue

Hi, in the HTTP Request sample, there is a checkbox for follow redirects. Try it.

perform those 3 steps and now my problem is fixed, its working ...Thank You ....but a dialogue box(Transactions control recorder-stop button is given) is open when click on start button in which http samper settings show {1)Transaction name (2)Create New Transaction after request} why this field is given when i fill this fields nothing happens
I believe this should be to allow you to stop recording when you have completed your scenario.
