People say Lupe fell off. My nigga never fell off, he got locked up. Locked into a contract with a record company who wouldn't let him make his own music. Tried to force their own records on him, and he wouldn't do it. Now that he's free to make his music the way he's been wanting to make it you will see he never fell off he just finally got his roadblocks out the way.

LukeKTT FNL2 was great. And you cant make assumptions for another person who wants to experience an artist. They should give each body of work a fair shot so they can make a real assessment and judgement on the artist and surrounding circumstances for each album.

Growing up his music inspired me to become an emcee, the same way Nas, Pac, Mos Def, and Common influenced other rappers. Much love to Lupe for continuing to do his thang. Lasers was very commercial. So if you mean he fell off commercially then, I would agree. But Food & Liquor 2 dropped in 2012 and from start to finish it's a great album. His new album Tetsuo & Youth just dropped last week. Incredible album.
