Remember, if your ancestor owned land, then there is likely a will or probate package to find. Search hints first, if you don’t find it, go to Search, Card Catalog, then filter to the location, then use the filter for Wills.
🌳 FamilySearch
Go to the home page, scroll down to View Experiments, choose the Full Text Search. Then search by keywords “last will and testament” (in quotes) and click the more options tab. Then add the name of your ancestor and search.
