The NREMT exam includes 5 main sections of content. The first of those three sections is Airway, Respiration, and Ventilation. Also covered on NREMT exam is understanding Respiratory Emergencies.
I cover three NREMT practice questions here so that you can get prepared for your upcoming NREMT exam. When taking NREMT practice questions, always find out WHY the answer was correct or incorrect.
That is exactly what I do in these NREMT practice question videos, I highlight the correct answer, then explain WHY that answer is right.
I look forward to your EMS education success and passing the NREMT!

I just recently took my NREMT, and if I remember correctly, these questions were actually on there. What a gem ✨
Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
I purchased your vault when I felt I wasn't getting enough information from my textbook and watched your videos for three months over and over. I saw this video yesterday right before taking my NREMT exam. I am happy to announced I passed my NREMT on the first attempt! I definitely couldn't have done it without your lectures.
Wow, thank you! Congrats!
This man talked to me like I was an idiot and I honestly needed that. Feel way smarter now 😭
I let my national expire years ago but needed it to work out of state now. Took it today and already got results with passing score! Love your practice questions! Anyone reading this that’s about to take the test just go in confident and take it one question at a time! You all got this!!
Holy shit I got all these right confidently just by following evans methods. I’m taking mine in about 25 days! I can do this
Just passed my NREMT 😁 thanks father Evan
Congtrats! Great work!

I appreciate all your doing Evan. Thanks

I wanted to thank you for your videos, they helped me a lot after failing the home NREMT, I retested, and passed at 70 questions yesterday. I really appreciate everything you do for people like me. 🚑

Greetings from Wisconsin, I just want to let you know that your videos are amazing and you do an excellent job with every single video. I would just like to say within the last week I passed my NREMT a lot of it was your help and learning from your videos, which I continue to watch, I just want to say thank you I’m 50 years old and this is a new career for me. Keep up the good work onto my AEMT
I'm a working EMT and review your videos weekly. Thanks. Great video.
Awesome! Thank you!
Bravo 👏! I like the editing on this vid, great work. 👍👍
Thank you for your support!
very informative, I like it. I'm preparing for my skills test.
You can do it!
CCB, I haven’t taken the nremt in a long time but I’m glad I could review :)
I was taught that if it’s difficulty breathing it’s mechanical so you would then ventilate them mechanically via BVM to compensate for their inability or trouble to do so on their own
hey there! so just some quick clarifying tips. If there is difficulty breathing, often you will administer oxygen to assist with repirations. However if breathing is irregular(Cheyne-Stokes) or other respiratory patterns or apnea(Without) then assisted ventilations via BVM would be indicated. It really just depends on the type and severity of the case.
thank you so much
Thank you!
Welcome!
I got 2/3 I have my test tomorrow! Thanks for the thinking practice
You got this!
heck yea I got all three 🎉
Can we please do a NREMT Study Session soon!
That would be nice. I am part of the group on FB. Let me know if we do
I got them all right

Question 1 I wasn't sure about but 2 and 3 I got correct. Taking my 3rd and (hopefully final) attempt next month.
Keep studying hard, Paul!
Using this fucking clown is a sure fire way to fail
I got the second question right.
Second question, i put D because it seemed like multisystem failure/issues.
Take the NREMT tmmr, very nervous, but i got this!
How'd it go?
@@Dualsport911 went to 120 felt pretty good, but at the same time not sure. Waiting for the results at the moment.

@ 6:04 that’s my fav part, def me 😂😅
Thanks for the support!
I would have said o2 but as you said, they gave us no vitals so no indication he needs o2, just as in the case of CPAP. However, the only thing clear was he was having chest pain. So, he was having an MI which cause him to wreck, thus aspirin. 😉 We all know though, you cant confuse NREMT with real life scenarios.
Hello I've been watching for a couple days.Since I found an interest in EMT but I was a little confused and Google wasn't really helping. If I would like to go to college what would I major? Also when I looked up EMT programs I couldn't rly find any so I'm having a little difficulty on that and was wondering how I could find one.

On the paramedic NREMT this year it has Braxton Hicks
ROSC (don’t do the 12 GOATS, that’s not the correct order)
Abdominal quadrants
Heart tones
Central cord syndrome
Dystonic reactions
Aspirin overdose
Triamus
Tadalafil
Types of radios MHz
Inotopic vs chronotropic

Is this for the NREMT for paramedic or EMT ? (I’m taking the NREMT-P in 2 weeks 😬)
I’d love to be on a ambulance with is man and can I please take your paramedic course
Hi. Volly NYC fireman here. Currently in EMT school . I have trouble with this. Could I admin oxygen before checking vitals? Would oxygen interfere with my vital signs/ B in ABC?
#LETSGOOOO
I said it was B the exact way you said I would overthink it.
I was 2 for 3
One Good question coach, My EMR class will start in a few weeks, and I speak simple English. With that in mind, do you think my English will be a significant barrier for passing the exams?
3/3
I got 2 out of 3 right. Should not have Second, guess my self on that first one. :)
I have been watching your videos for a little bit now and I am going to take my NREMT within a month and just wanted to say thank you because you have helped me a lot. Also, I got a 1/3 and understand why I got the 1 and 3 ones wrong.
#letsgo
I got all three wrong:( My biggest problem is overthinking but these videos help alot. I like to watch them while im on the treadmill. I'm taking my test tomorrow wish me luck!
You got this let me know how it goes, first time?
How did the test go?
#LetsGo
I watch/listen to your videos daily. I currently sit at the top of my AEMT class and will graduate with Honors next month. Thank you!
😊
CCB (Swear I didn’t cheat 💯)
Now the 2nd question could of also been a pericardial tamponade if it was taken into consideration .
The nremt was a lot more diagnosing then I thought it was almost no scenario based questions just a warning
So for example the question were mostly like "these are the symptoms what does this person have" rather then how do u treat this person
That's exactly why I focus on my students studying content over taking hundreds of practice questions. If you take a question as I highlighted here, understanding the why is the most important aspect. Thanks for tuning in!
@@TheParamedicCoach I passed the first ! Your UA-cam content was a big help thank you!
I love this content but the way he teaches is like blues clues for adults, took me back like 20 years
Lol this came out hours after I took my NREMT
Did u pass?
@@triten3690 yessir, finished in 15 minutes, test shut off at 70 questions
@@Noah-er9on wow, you mustve gotten like every question right! What tips can you give to someone who is about to take it??
@@triten3690 try not to stress about it and read every question carefully. It's not trying to trick you, it's trying to tell if you understand the basics or not. Get some good rest the night before, and don't over study!
@@Noah-er9on Can U help me differentiate between when to use a BVM and when to use a nonrebreather? Im starting to really overthink it and am getting hella confused
just took my exam and i am already a 16 medic in the state of MA. just trying to get the national for bragging and to support my younger newbies. I got a 890 the first try and today i think i did worse. I feel like it is a joke to be honest because it should ask questions to make sure you know your Hs and Ts, GSc scores, Apgar scores and such. ID 12 LEADS and rhythms. Identifying breathing patterns and such. I got questions like what is "CEPH" referring to head, foot, skin, or neck. Its just a joke question IMO. got a question regarding blood types and and who would get a reaction if given this blood type with this blood type. Last time i checked Im not giving blood transfusion. i was asked some stupid doctor questions i cant even remember. I will be contacting the national registry to advised them how weak this is and what a joke of a test. It really is a joke and anyone that thinks this test is good needs to get a clue. I dont know where all these doctor questions come from but it results in outstanding EMTs not getting their medic and weakening the EMS system overall. the NR can F off! I bet you they would not ace this test if they took it. Half those old idiots have been in EMS since the 80s
Question 2 doesn’t give you much info so you don’t know more about the possible pathology or mechanism of injury so you have to eliminate. You going to give an anticoagulant to a possible traumatic injury? CPAP is contraindicated for pneumothorax.
Answer would be easy if it said immediately administer O2 and proceed with a more detailed assessment.
