I have been training my accuracy since the multiplayer came out . People really sleep on practicing with bots . It's improved my accuracy dramatically and helps with tracking. The training mode is great I do it everyday before games
Same, sometimes I get lose myself and spend 45 minutes on spartan bots live fire with sniper and BR. Infinite ammo. Helps for those ranked no scope battles

Im definitely going to take the reticle trick and apply it! My aim and strafe/1v1 game seem to be so inconsistent, though. Some days im absolutely on fire, going like 35/10 kd in matches, some days im average joe and some days like yesterday, I went 2/14 in my last game and got off. Im a high sens player on controller and it really feels like everything changes day to day. One day 5look accel/ 10/10 sens feels perfect, other times Inhave to knock it down to 2 look accel, 9/9 sens. And I cant for my life figure out deadzones. Seems like everyone has different advice and I dont know whats true anymore. Some say put all deadzones to zero, some say keep it as low as possible, and seems like people are inconistent about threshold. Ive come so close to diamond 6 across both open and solo so many times, but then the next day things go south and im a diamond 4 again. I even play in lobbies with onyxs and seem to do just fine some days. Other days im losing all my 1v1s. My midrange game is pretty consistent, at least. I really want onyx but its starting to feel impossible. Agh. Any help would be appreciated.

Keep it up man! You got it! Only big tip would be to talk to ur teammates even if they don’t have mics. You follow these tips and settings you’ll get there… lastly as a 1525 onyx(peaked at 1560) there is a massive diff in ranked matches once ur onyx level and climbing. 1600 is way diff then the 1500’s. Lol so work out those kinks. But once ur onyx don’t think the grind is over!

I’m on a shit computer only getting 60fps and on the east coast so my ping is always high. Question is does the 120 fps really make a big difference? I constantly feel like I can’t finish kills or bullets do not register
This may sound weird but eventually do you think you can explain how to move and slide properly? I’ve seen pro players slide and then jump far distances, I’ve tried to lab it but I can’t seem to get it down, forgive me if it’s a dumb or confusing question

There is a reticle Opacity setting. It’s under accessibility, scroll to Visual, then reticle opacity and thickness

There's a specific setting to adjust the reticle opacity without effecting the rest of the HUD
I like the hud because it’s brightens up the kill feed on the darker maps.

I think on the second tip you meant centering but correct me if I am wrong! Centering is when you just keep your crosshairs where you expect enemies.
Middle of the screen around head shot height. But yeah you don’t want to move it a lot. You don’t want to be looking at the floor exc.

You can to click mode and go to popular and click arena ffa. Then in the settings go to bots at the bottom and add ffa bots

It’s because I have the UI settings for the enemy as red
