Goodbye 3 series trucks you will be missed
The square body cabs... they will be as sought after as an old pair of Converses.... A look oh so nice and properly American, and one that will never go out of style regardless of how the future shapes up. The 359/379/389.... not just a quintessential American hauler, it's the truck that defined a brand that stood between the intersection of looks, luxury, power and quality. That's the Peterbilt myself, and many others (drivers, operators, kids and truckspotters, like me.) will remember. Godspeed 3 (insert) 9 series. Greetings from Salem, NJ. Why? You had the 567 for the people wanting aero with a dash of classic look, now we have 2 aeros with a touch of classic. Weird
Farewell legend! The 389 was the best truck Pete ever made it was the heavy hauler of an industry. We will miss them but something better is coming.

Bought new peterbilt have transmission problem, been in a shop for over 2 month, 4 different shops open case with paccar and all what they authorized its wheels check and angles, over and over...ridiculous! always taught peterbilt takes pride of the product.

Peterbilt 589 to sheikh zayed tour drive
No. Trucking compaines say they are moving on but they arent, Freightliner, made the ugly cascadia, following suit like the powerliner, then Kenworth with the W990, like the ugly T2000, and now Peterbilt 389, is going the way of the 372 and theyy are making the beautiful 389, to the way of the 362 to the 372. its truly sad.
Instead of crying, you should be on your hands and knees worshipping Peterbilt for succeeding the 389 with the 589. They didn’t have to make that thing look and feel the way it does, but they did.
@@roguegeek Haha, I'm not crying dude, just saying, trucking has gone downhill real fast. And Irdc how it looks, itll never, ever be as good as the old trucks use to be, and all those "assisting electronics" that are supposed to be there for comfort, is just another thing to break. If you don't want my opinion, your first step to not getting it is to not look at the comments.
My new job has me driving this model doing OTR. Cant believe I’m driving my dream truck as a company driver. Can I get some videos on it?! I want to know EVERYTHING! I bet there’s some hidden features I never knew about.
Now's the start of Peterbilt going down the drain. Peterbilt lost more than they will ever gain by getting rid of the classic. An the 589 will never win over the 351 359 379 389 drivers
