- An overview of the Okuma ITX Carbon spinning reel range.
WELCOME TO A NEW ERA OF OKUMA... ITX CARBON...
Following a comprehensive design and prototyping process, and field testing around the world, we are proud to unveil the Okuma ITX Carbon.
The lightweight and rigid C-40X long strand carbon fibre used in the body, side plates, and rotor of the ITX Carbon provides exceptional strength where it is needed the most, 25% more strength than standard graphite reels, while a machined aluminium, screw-in handle assures positive engagement and stability.
A 7HPB +1RB high performance ball bearing system and precision machine cut brass pinion gear keeps the reel feeling both rigid and smooth. A machined aluminium, 2-tone anodised spool is surrounded by Okuma's Cyclonic Flow Rotor system, designed to increase air flow through the ported rotor, minimising moisture retention throughout the reel. Housed in the spool is a slick multi-disc, carbon fibre drag system, with Hydro Block gasket to prevent water intrusion, for consistent drag performance.

Just bought 3 of these brand new for 50 bucks each, they seem very nice light high speed
Great series with a nice color scheme & great value for money very impressive reels....
looks good!
Looks like it might be time to upgrade my okuma range of reels.still got a couple of epix baitrunners going strong.
Great presentation. I love my 3K and just ordered my 4K.
I ordered the 3k but why i feel it so small
@@petcha6186 I have the current 3K & i use it a lot. No difference from my other 3K units. Only PENN makes units slightly larger then the advertised sizes but they're much heavier as well.
I love my iTx 3000h, it’s a beast!!!
is the spool on your 3000h super narrow? ie. Inline with 1000 size reels from other manufacturers? Any idea how many millimetres from lip to lip?
just curious because I just bought a helios 30 and the spools is only 40mm or so... like many 1000 or 2000 size reels. I'm afraid it is going to cause line issues and poor castability.. Help!
Recreational fishing, from ultra light finesse up to your snapper, barra & mackeral with 4 reels that cover the vast majority of recreational fishers needs.. Just like Jason I am super excited, fishing just gets better & better & Okuma is a strong part of that.
does it have encapsulated(shielded) bearings? thanks
how does this compare to Epixor size wise
Where can we actually buy one of these rods? Where or who are Okuma dealers? Located North Brisbane.
Hey mate Tackle World Lawnton or Tackle Land Sandgate are both Okuma stockists in that area.
Thank you mate. I'll be heading there 2moro.
Does anyone actually buy okuma!?!?

@@robertpitot200 I’ve experienced excellent and quixk customer service from Okuma honoring a rod warranty.
