Love your channel! I’m a novice gardener here in NL, and started growing cucumbers and sweet peppers in a greenhouse that my husband built for me. I’m wondering when should I start harvesting the cucumbers and unfortunately I don’t have any peppers as yet but we put those in quite late in the season. I’m hoping to try tomatoes next year and would love to try sugar snap peas and wondering if you have ever grown those? Thank you for all the information you provide on your channel.

Thank you so much for watching Michelle! I feel that there needs to be more Newfoundlanders putting garden content on here. You can start harvesting the cucumbers at around 6-8 inches if you are growing slicers or much smaller if you are growing a pickling varieties. I don't like letting cucumbers get too large because it waters down the tase. Sugar snap peas are very simple to grow! Plant them in the spring and make sure you have something for them to grow up like netting or a trellis.

Do you or have you ever kept the seeds from the San Marzano tomatoes to grow next year. I would love to get some seeds from a San Marzano ripe deep red tomato. Some to ferment and dry for next year. They seem to grow bigger and cluster up more than the Romas by the looks of your video.

My San Marzanos were so much more productive for me this year! I have kept tomato seeds in the past from my own tomatoes and they grow excellent. I haven't grown the roma's as a comparison but I do hear that these are larger and seem to be more productive. Thanks so much for watching!
