My throat. It was awful. Sleep the next time. Never had lower done. I'm sitting here in the hospital waiting to go to the right floor. Have to get scanned for blood clots then start new chemo Friday. So glad to see you today it cheered me up😊🍦
I'm coming up on two years. I've thought many times about stopping Tamoxifen but the statistics are good for it helping me so I have decided to live with the side effects. On the bright side, I'm feeling better and better, so maybe my body is adjusting.
Oh Amy, i had a colonoscopy a couple years ago, no drugs, and it was no fun. In fact the cramps were pretty painfull! Hope yours went ok? (If you had it done already) Bummer from your arm, but great it will get better pretty quickly. Xoxo Karin
The upper Gi was around 2006. They told my I had gerd and gave me the purple pill Nexium which I believe makes symptoms worse and keeps one on meds and antacids. So I found a natural remedy in Frenches Yellow table Mustard Works like a charm. Havent had heartburn ever since. I also quit smoking years ago and I think that adds to the heartburn. Glad to hear you lower gi went well and I bet you are glad it is done.
Hi Amy I just had a recent bout with lymphadema. Of the almost 2 years since surgery this is the first and about 2 weeks after picc line put in and during extreme hot hummid days of eating lots of salt and pickles while sitting in the outdoors for a couple ours a day. tey checked for lung and leg clots negative. so its probably the weather and sodium. You look so well in this video Amy the one that follows I can tell you weren't feeling as well and your weight is fine but your face is puffy
How long now have you been on the tamoxifen? Would you ever consider stopping it for a while just to see if that is what is causing your pains and other side effects.. On the flat and fab facebook group I have seen those who either stopped it, haven't started it or refuse to take it. Just wondering what the recurrence statstics are with the drug. But any way Amy you look great and I enjoy listening to your day to day adventures
Millie is precious. Hope your arm gets better💗

Sorry to hear about your lymphedema flair-up. Glad you have an idea of what caused it. Hopefully it will stay away now.
I guess it helped for me that I looked at pictures online before my surgery, so I knew what to expect. It does fade over time.
Thanks Lori. :)
thanks Lori. It seems to be under control now.

I was shocked at what my scar looked like post surgery.

thanks Karin. Went fine, thanks. I guess I was lucky because I hear for some it's much worse.
