Meri nazar me, meri pasand NOUSHAD ke baad koi aor Azeem Music Director hai to Sirf aor Sirf KHAYYAM hi hai, ye Hindustan ki bahut badi khush qismati hai ke Do Muslim Musiqaar ne Hindustani Music ke Raagon ko nichod kar aisey Lafani Geet diey jo Amar ho gaey. Dono Music Directors apny Hindu Sangeet Guru ke hamesha Abhari rahey jinki koshish se wo Is badey muqam tak pahunchey.

So sad that we have lost another ( probably the last of the greats ) legendary composer. We grew up listening to his beautiful songs, so many that one doesn't know where to start. In such a crowded and competitive industry Khaiyam saab made his name and his own distinctive style, something which has long gone in today's music. Khaiyam saab aap humhe chhor ke chale-gaiye magar aap ka sangeet anmol rattan ki tarah hamesha chamkaaye ga. Khudha aap ko junath bakshaye. Love and Respect to you sir.

Khayyam was so simple that it was the hardest task for the most sophisticated man to understand him.

Khayyam Sahib. God almighty has enforced his laws in nature which is controlling all creature in the universe. These laws are based on permanent values.(Ref Quran). Sun will never rise from West.
Music is a part of nature and there is no such verse in Quran forbidding Music. One can sing in honor of God, His Prophets, Mother can sing for her son or her daughter, Brother can sing for his sister etc. A wife can sing for her husband or husband can sing for his wife, But there should be no vulgarity in the poetry.
After the death of Prophet Mohammad (S) 250 years later Persian writers invented fake stories, fake Hadees attributed to Prophet (S) and succeeded in brainwashing the entire Muslims of the world to follow their books instead of Quran. In other words, they have imposed Martial Law on Music.
