Just a quick question do you have any ragwort in your fields, I hope not as it's poisonous to cattle and horses, we had one meadow witch was covered in ragwort, so I plowed it up, and treated it when it grew back no ragwort the grass was fabulous, bailed it up for hey and silage. I be always wondered why the double work why not one machine,do the Oates have cure before you pick them up,love your videos keep it up take care of ole dad!!!
how does the whole crop oats (oatlage) test out. what sort of protein content and sugar content are you getting. we always mixed the oats with peas or beans.

We didn't test it but we have talked about putting peas with it to increase protein content.

Good question. We hired a crew to chop for us so I do not know much about what they had for machinery, sorry.

That mower kinda sucks for picking up the downed shit doesn't it? The few I've used you can really scalp it .
