Whilst it’s nice to have the villengard bomb as an accessory I think it would’ve made more sense for the online exclusive version to include a set of extra hands as the intelligent gloves as seen in the church on Ruby road
It is a bit of an odd accessory to include, and the gloves would have made more sense to include, especially as they'd have just been plain black with a bit of "yellow/gold" detail on them. As I say I would have included the bomb in a BOOM 15 variant, but I hold out hope that their production of said accessory means a variant is on the cards in future
Until I actually take one apart I can't say for sure but I think some parts will be easy but others may be harder or be more likely to break. However it is worth noting that these figures aren't designed to make with customising in mind
From what I've seen the Church on Ruby Road costume is one of the more popular, with myself included. I have to admit it does seem a bit of a cheat (if that's not too strong a word) that the more popular version is the special edition and therefore has less availability... There's probably a good business reason for this but it does concern me a little
I get what you mean, it's a bit of a tricky one. From a buyer/collector perspective it does seem a little "underhanded" (for lack of a better term) to do that given that they know it'll be popular. BUT from a business perspective where you want to make as many sales as you can AND in the process generate demand for re-releases in future it's actually pretty smart, because there's no reason they couldn't release a single carded CoRr version at a later date.

I wonder if the Gen 3 figure bodies are going to be slightly more difficult to take a part for customs.
