Cigarette cut pants are the best. My all time saviour. Also I loved the fact that you kept it simple, elegant and classic. Hey, I would say first see if you like anything from your mother's collection, and for college program you can get creative like styling it with crop top or slight Indo- western which you mostly can't be done for family functions/ weddings.... Also try to opt for light weight saree which is more comfortable...
